Amor que Desapareces
Los Pericos Lyrics

Amor que desapareces
Amor que desapareces
Que decirte cuando
Te quedas mirando
Y muestras en tus ojos
La peor desnudez
Cansado y golpeado
Si así es como llegamos
En quien puedo creer
Amor que desapareces
Ya no se porque nunca respondes
Milagro seria volverte a escuchar
Ya no se porque nunca respondes
Solo un beso obligado
Me vas a dar
Solo un beso olvidado
Y nada mas
Amor que desapareces
Ya no tengo miedo a perderte
No le tengo miedo a la soledad
Ya no tengo miedo a perderte
Solo un beso obligado
Me vas a dar
Solo un beso olvidado
Y nada mas
Amor que desapareces
The song "Amor que Desapareces" by Los Pericos talks about a relationship in which one person is withdrawing and disappearing from the other. The singer is at a loss for what to say or do when they look into their partner's eyes and see a sense of deep nakedness and vulnerability. This person has left the singer feeling blind, tired, and beaten down, and the singer questions who they can turn to or believe anymore. The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "Amor que desapareces" which translates to "Love that disappears," emphasizing the theme of one person leaving and abandoning the other.
In the second verse, the singer expresses frustration that their partner never responds and that even a simple kiss from them is now forced and forgotten. Despite this, the singer claims to no longer fear losing this person or being alone. They have accepted the unhealthy state of the relationship and resigned themselves to one last goodbye kiss that means nothing more.
Overall, the song captures the feeling of a love that has faded away and left one person feeling alone and confused. The repetitive chorus of "Amor que desapareces" echoes the pain and the sense of disappointment in a love that has vanished.
