Los Pericos Lyrics

Sabe por qué está, por qué nació
No te apagues nunca, nos haces falta.
Qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá.
I and I, mi flor mi flor
I and I
Qué bueno verte.
Todas las mañanas me das sonrisas
Todas las mañanas me das amor
Quiero que estés bien y verte sana.
Qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá
I and I, mi flor, mi flor
I and I
I and I, mi flor, mi flor
Que bueno verte
Tengo que sentarme y hablarte mucho
Mírame a los ojos, dime que ves
Buena bajo el sol, buena en la noche.
Qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá
I and I, mi flor, mi flor
I and I
I and I, mi flor, mi flor
Qué bueno verte.
La flor de mi jardín se ve paciente
Sabe por qué está, por qué nació
No te apagues nunca, nos haces falta.
Qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá, qué dirá
I and I, mi flor, mi flor
I and I
I and I, mi flor, mi flor
Qué bueno verte.
The song "Mi Flor" by Los Pericos is a simple yet powerful tribute to a flower in the singer's garden. The opening lines "La flor de mi jardín se ve paciente/Sabe por qué está, por qué nació" convey a sense of mindfulness towards the natural world, acknowledging the flower's place and purpose in the universe. The repetition of "qué dirá" emphasizes the singer's curiosity about what the flower is thinking, almost as if it has a consciousness worthy of consideration. The use of "I and I" throughout the lyrics also suggests a spiritual connection and shared experience between the singer and the flower.
As the song continues, the singer expresses gratitude for the happiness and love the flower brings them every morning, and a desire to see it healthy and happy. The line "Tengo que sentarme y hablarte mucho/Mírame a los ojos, dime que ves" shows a willingness to connect with the flower on a deeper level, to have a conversation and truly see it. The final lines "No te apagues nunca, nos haces falta" affirm the flower's value and importance in the singer's life and to the world.
Overall, "Mi Flor" is a beautiful reminder to slow down and appreciate the natural world around us, to recognize the value and consciousness in even the smallest things, and to cultivate a sense of gratitude and connection.
