My ancestors suffered and died as victims of racism, and their pain and sacrifice still haunts us to this day.

Those who have never experienced oppression and struggle cannot truly understand what we've been through and what we need to succeed.

Growing up in fatherless households has made it harder for us to succeed and overcome the obstacles in our way.

We have had to figure out how to be fathers and role models on our own, despite never having had positive male role models ourselves.

Despite my success and fame, I still remember where I came from and try to always represent my roots and my community.
