To name but a few: ‘Osiris’, ‘Hookah’, ‘Ominous Tribe’, ‘Rosenbaum Trio’, ‘Sand/Elephantum’ and ‘Tegenpolen (live band)’. With his love for stoner rock, funk, techno, drum & bass and many other styles he became a resident dj in ‘t Ukien (the place to be in Kampen city, the Netherlands) for 7 years. In this period his craze for digital expression took flight and the MAGA project was born.

Necesito ver colores,
Y sólo la voz del aire
La puesta de sol despide.
No puedo dormir, lo sabes,
Necesito ver colores,
Y sólo la voz del aire
La puesta de sol despide.
The lyrics to Maga's song "Des-Pi-De" convey a sense of longing for a different reality or space where the singer can escape to, away from the mundane and ordinary. The opening lines "Eterno azul, fin de final, Tan sólo aquí es verdad" suggest a desire for a world beyond ourselves that is more permanent and significant than the everyday. The singer then urges someone to "escóndeme tras el reloj" or "hide them behind the clock" which could mean hiding behind the passage of time and its ongoing cycles.
The singer is seeking an escape from something they cannot name, which makes them unable to sleep. They then speak of needing to "ver colores" or "see colors" in order to feel some kind of release or catharsis. The line "Un mago alfil transluce el sol" brings in an element of magic and fantasy, as the singer imagines a chess piece (the bishop, translated as "alfil" in Spanish) creating a translucent sun in a garden that doesn't really exist. The final lines repeat the idea of needing to see colors, with the "voz del aire" or "voice of the air" as the only thing able to usher in a peaceful end to the day.
