Overall Meaning

The lyrics to Magma's song "Bradia da zimehn iegah" are quite abstract and open to interpretation. The song is sung in a language called Kobaïan, which was created by the band's founder, Christian Vander. Kobaïan is a fictional language that adds an element of mystery to the lyrics and allows listeners to focus more on the emotive qualities of the music rather than the literal meaning of the words.

In these lyrics, there is a sense of ancient and mythical elements. The first verse talks about the awakening of the earth and the beginning of a new era. It describes the arrival of a celestial race known as "Da Feltëš" and their influence on the world. The second verse speaks of the power and importance of words and their ability to shape reality. It mentions the struggle to find the right words that hold meaning and significance.

The chorus adds a layer of complexity to the song. It talks about something getting lost in translation or not being fully understood. There seems to be an element of frustration or confusion expressed here. The bridge section brings in the concept of regulation and control. It mentions the duality of chaos and order, with chaos being described as a necessary element that balances the structured world.

Overall, "Bradia da zimehn iegah" seems to be a song that explores the themes of cosmic forces, the power of language, and the delicate balance between chaos and order. It invites listeners to immerse themselves in the music and emotions conveyed rather than seeking a concrete message in the lyrics.

Christian Vander créé l'art sonique pour ceux qui ont la chance de le découvrir: vive Magma!

God, Top's bass has such a great tone on this album. It sounds so thick that I keep on mistaking it for a bass synthesizer.

Even so late its always great to discovering a Sophisticated Genius like Christian Vander

It's a bit strange why this wasn't released as a Magma album, but a Christian Vander solo album. Stella, Klaus Blazquiz and Jannick Top are all here, I know it's a smaller personnel than your typical Magma album, but it's still Magma. It did get later reissued on CD as Wurdah Itah, as a Magma album.
