Gritos violencia, platos rotos
Como ciega la demencia
Solo yo te pido amor
Que nunca me abandones
Solo le pido a dios
Darte alivio

Arde el cielo is a song by Mexican rock band Maná, and the lyrics delve into themes of routine, emptiness, desire, and mental instability. The opening lyrics describe how routine has encumbered the singer's life, leading to feelings of emptiness and confusion. As the song progresses, it goes on to describe the singer's turbulent relationship with their partner, with both expressing a desire for the other's well-being despite the harm they've caused each other. The chorus, "Arde, arde el cielo y el dolor" (Burn, burn the sky and the pain), underscores the intensity of the emotions being conveyed, with the singer's anguish manifesting in their spirit, love, and soul.
The song's lyrics present a world that is both real and metaphorical, describing how the singer's personal struggles have resulted in a cosmic rift that is causing the sky to burn and bleed. The lyrics can be interpreted to suggest that the singer is trying to find solace in a higher power or divine entity, as they repeatedly "ask God for relief" for themselves and their partner. Overall, the song is a powerful portrayal of emotional turmoil and the search for emotional freedom and peace.
