This one and Flowers of Antimony definitely have that Megaman vibe that Matsumae is known for. You can especially hear it in the bassline of the other song.

This, Propeller Knight's stage, Mole Knight's stage, and Tinker Knight's stage, and Specter Knight, and even Polar Knight's stage for me. Depends on the mood, but many times I've plugged in my 3DS through the car stereo and left it on that track where ever I'm going (and could be for a good amount of time too).

matsumae(this composer) and tateishi(composer of mega man 2) were known for, along with other composers who worked with capcom at the time, worked quite closely with each other. in fact, tateishi and matsumae sat next to each other. they are known for having composed bits and pieces of each others' songs on their respective games, trading and influencing each other. their manager knew about it but did not tell anyone about it at the time. so, it does make sense in some way that this music would sound like mega man 2's.
