He works in NYC writing music and sound effects for mobile phone games. He has much more energy than he can spend at work, so he practices guitar, works on various side projects, and see what sort of trouble he can get into with freelance music jobs.
He remains active in the amateur music community that taught him the ropes and helped him build confidence. He arranges and performs classic videogame music.

Can I just say that this was EASILY the hardest battle in plague of shadows for me, like I think I died about 20 times in this battle, just because I didn't buy the lob casing (the one that let's you throw bombs upward) And this boss was also really hard in Shovel of hope.

It seems that Specter Knight's campaign is going to be coming up next. In the credits of Plague Knight's Campaign, Specter Knight is searching for some locket, so it seems to be foreshadowing something to do with Specter's campaign.

+TheKiter27respawn That very chest contained the Phase Locket, which Plague Knight found and then traded elsewhere to Chester for the Leech Liquid. Chester then sold it to Shovel Knight for his own use. I think there might indeed be more to that locket. Notice, too, how the Phase Locket is shaped somewhat like a heart. I wonder if Specter Knight might have had a lover in life. I'd imagine an image of said lover perhaps being kept inside the locket. And I can totally see that locket motivate Specter Knight's campaign. I see great potential for how this could tie into Shovel Knight and his story and the overarching plot as a whole. This is going to be very interesting, no matter what.

+Laggalot101 What if this lover is trapped within the phase locket and helps the hero out? Think of it as a Sonic Adventure 2 type thing. People had murdered him and this lover and he thinks the way to set things right is to get revenge, which is not what this lover wants him to do. Thus this lover helps Shovel Knight by protecting him so he can stop Specter Knight's plot for revenge. It's just an idea.

What I've learned from Specter of Torment: everything was Donovan's fault from the start! He interfered with and attacked Shield Knight when she was about to destroy the amulet only to get her possessed by it! He also betrayed and killed his best friend, Luan, Reize's father, and recruited the Order of No Quarter! Everyone blamed the Enchantress when they should've blamed Donovan for what he did!

crackpotfox Plague knight I got down on my first try, Specter however, goddamn. His different scythe throwing moves where sometimes you're safe standing on the platform and sometimes you're not were the death of me so many times.
But he was also the first boss (beside black knight).
