Debout, depuis que tu m'as renversé
Debout, depuis que tu m'as renversé
Debout, depuis que tu m'as renversé
Debout, depuis que tu m'as renversé
In Marc Lavoine's song Tu M'As Renversé, he describes a woman who has captivated his heart and mind to the point that he feels like he is being physically overwhelmed by her presence. When he touches her, he experiences a rush of feelings that he describes as a "midnight-express" running through him. He goes on to explain that her appearance is perfect with just the right scent and not overly made-up with gold tones, and even when she appears upside down, she is still enchanting to him. He cannot shake the idea of her from his mind, and she has become the most important thought he has.
The chorus of the song explains how she has changed his life completely by simply "renversé" or "overturning" him; she holds him up and gives him the will to continue living. He also expresses a sense of wonder that this amazing woman could possibly be with him, but he is grateful that she is. Overall, the song is a love letter to a woman who has transformed his life for the better in every way.
