Mi Buen Amor
Maria Dolores Pradera Lyrics

Me arrimé a tu puerto a descansar
The singer is reflecting on the nature of love and acknowledges that while some loves fade away with time, there are others that continue to burn brightly. She describes love as being both sweet and painful, like a rose with thorns. However, the love she has with the person she is addressing in the song is one of the good ones. It is a love that was planted and has grown into something beautiful, one that has not ended in drought or disappointment.
In the chorus, she addresses her lover, referring to him as her "good love," her delirium, and the source of her happiness. She asks him not to expect her to forget him easily, as his love was the sea that she approached when she was thirsty for love, and his love was her resting place. She acknowledges that his love brought her happiness during the darkest times of her life when everything else was dark.
Overall, the lyrics depict a love that is enduring and has brought the singer immense joy and comfort throughout her life. It is a celebration of the power of love to sustain and uplift us through good times and bad.
