Songfacts states that Redman's eighth album 10,000 Reasons, was co-written with several of his friends. He then recorded the songs live in Atlanta, leading worship for over 1,000 worship leaders during LIFT: A Worship Leader Collective, put on by Passion City Church and sixstepsrecords on February 18 and 19, 2011. It sold nearly 7,000 units its first week in the US, almost doubling Redman's previous album release We Shall Not Be Shaken. The LP entered the Billboard 200 at #66, his biggest debut to date.

we sang this at church camp, and the last night, the sky was super cloudy, because it had been stormy. Well, it got to the end of the song, and after the instrumental break, as soon as we started singing "We welcome You with praise", the sun burst through the clouds. It was God there. It was the most beautiful moment of my whole week at camp, and I will forever remember that. The way I felt in those two seconds was just ... sheer amazement

When I was at church came over a decade ago we sang God of wonders (God of wonders beyond out galaxy...) and the loudest lightning I ever heard cracked and rain started pouuurrrrinnggg. The whole room of teenagers was filled with JOY and his presence and we laughed and it was so so beautiful!!!!!!
THIS song to me.... I had a dream everyone at my college was singing this song taking off old glasses and putting them down and DANCING with joy and i woke up i so in God's presence. I felt felt much joy all day. I'd been fasting for salvation on the campus and felt that I just what the dream symbolized, that He was answering!!! Ever since then I adore this song!
