Corboz was born in Marsens, Switzerland and educated in his native canton of Fribourg. He founded the Ensemble Vocal de Lausanne, with which he has recorded and toured extensively. He also has an association with the Gulbenkien Chorus of Lisbon, Portugal and teaches at the Geneva Conservatory of Music.
He has become known for his recordings of Baroque and Renaissance music, particularly Monteverdi.

Me gustó esta interpretación, el tempo, parte de los solistas cantado por el coro, y la brillantes de las dos trompetas además de esta buena calidad de sonido hizo que me comprara el CD. Gracias Charpentier por esa composición y al director Corboz por dirigir tan romántica versión. Merci, gracias.

The trumpets in the prelude are so rousing and just glorious and listen to that bass singer at the beginning - this music can lift the mood of the depressed.
