I regret to inform you of you imminent demise
Men put your phones down, look your women in the eyes
Understand, let go your old plans
Children hold hands, your new role demands that if you
Gotta lick a shot, then aim for 6 o'clock
At least put it 22 when it jumps and hits the spot
Nice life. Be a shame if something happen to it
This solves nothing (Nothing)

Just thinking on the master plan
Steez drip like Faygo off the hatchetman
Burst into tears like Steve hearing Pile in Malden
There's a bomb in Gilead, use it often
Syncopated Saturdays fill me like a coffin
Spit like Zadie Smith with a Jay Z lisp, or like

The opening lines of Milo Youngman's "The Young Man Has A Point" set the tone for the rest of the song, which is a social commentary on modern life. Milo informs the listener that they are about to meet their doom, which can be interpreted in many ways. However, he quickly changes the subject to encourage men to put their phones down and pay attention to their partners. This is a critique on how technology has been affecting human relationships. He urges all to understand that they need to let go of old plans and embrace a new role that demands holding hands and being together.
In the second verse, Youngman moves to more substantive criticism of society. He asserts that violence does not solve anything, even though some individuals misguidedly think it does. He then goes on to talk about the master plan while comparing himself to Jaz-Z and Zadie Smith. Youngman here underscores how even successful and powerful people struggle to find balance in life. The phrase "steez drip like Faygo off the hatchetman" means having confidence in oneself.
Overall, the song can be construed as a plea to people to live simple lives, build and maintain healthy relationships, and avoid the trappings of modernity that can distract and disconnect us from each other.
