The band released three albums: "Spring Session M" (1982), "Rhyme & Reason" (1984) and "Color in Your Life" (1986). The band split in 1986 and the band members moved on to other projects. Warren Cuccurullo became the guitarist for Duran Duran and Dale Bozzio and Patrick O'Hearn each pursued solo careers. Terry Bozzio toured as the drummer for several rock musicians, including Steve Vai, Dweezil Zappa and Jeff Beck and later formed his own solo band.
Warren, Dale and Terry reformed Missing Persons in 2001 and performed several concerts throughout the United States. Terry Bozzio left the band in late 2001, and the band continued until 2003.
Cuccurullo and Dale Bozzio reformed Missing Persons once again in 2011 for a reunion tour.
As of 2013, Cuccurullo is no longer touring with Missing Persons. According to Dale Bozzio at the Tiki Room show in Costa Mesa, CA, Warren is suing the band for the image on their Spring Session M album. Terry Bozzio has changed drastically in appearance with much longer hair, a different colour (it used to be black) when compared to the Terry Bozzio Official page on Facebook. The keyboard player currently touring with them is Michael T. Ross who has also played with Lita Ford and Angel.

How can you tell where you're going to
You can't be sure of any situation
Something could change and then you won't know
Ask yourself
Where do we go from here
It seems so all to near
I still don't know what this all means to me
Tell yourself
I have nowhere to go
I don't know what to do
And I don't even know the time of day
I guess it doesn't matter any way
Life is so strange
Destination unknown
When you don't know
Your destination
Something could change
It's unknown
And then you won't know
Destination unknown
Life is so strange
Destination unknown
When you don't know
Your destination
Something could change
It's unknown
And then you won't know
Destination unknown
You ask yourself
When will my time come
Has it all been said and done
I know I'll leave when it's my time to go
'Til then I'll carry on with what I know
Life is so strange
Destination unknown
When you don't know
Your destination
Something could change
It's unknown
And then you won't know
Destination unknown
Life is so strange
Destination unknown
When you don't know
Your destination
And something could change
It's unknown
And then you won't know
Destination unknown
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange
Life is so strange

"Destination Unknown" is a classic song by New Wave band Missing Persons. The song consists of verses full of uncertainty and anxiety, and choruses in which this feeling is emphasized through repetition. The lyrics seem to express the idea that life is unpredictable, and that no one can ever know where they are headed. Asking oneself about the future is inevitable but the answers are vague and unknown. The listener is urged to accept uncertainty as an essential part of life by telling themselves that a lack of direction is normal, and that everything can change in a second. The lyrics tell us that one must carry on with what we know while trying to find the way to a destination that can't be seen. The song captures the essence of the loneliness and displacement of modern life, while also suggesting that we must realize that we are not the only ones feeling like this.
There are a few theories about what the song is about, but most converge on the idea that the song is exploring the human psyche and our relationship with time. During the early 80s, people were worried about the Cold War, and there was a lot of political unrest in the world. Together with the emerging technological revolution, many people were left wondering what the future would hold. In the lyrics of the song, the individual is confronted with their own mortality and a sense that the world is moving too fast around them. The idea of being an outsider and feeling different from other people is also present. The song invites the listener into these feelings and offers a kind of solace in the idea that everyone might be feeling the same way.

I always thought this band was stunningly good. One night after one of
their performances, I accidentally ran into Dale Bozzio. I got a chance
to talk to her for a while. I found her to be a highly intelligent,
super nice woman. She did not have to talk to me for so long, but she
did anyway and she had wonderful vibrations. Because it was an
accidental meeting, I had nothing for her to sign after the show and she
knew it. So she signed my T-shirt that I was wearing. She wrote: "Thank
You for Being Such a Great Fan, Love Dale Bozzio". When I got home I
immediately placed the T-shirt on my living room wall and I never wore
it again. She is a kind woman and so talented. I will never forget that.
@caryetch
Should have been a much bigger band than they were. Spring Session M is one of the all time great 80's New Wave records. Dale was smoking hot, super cool and ultra talented.

@Terry Standan It’s called an anagram and you must’ve read her book.

They were and still are a “big” band. I grew up in the 80s and they were everywhere.
@Sincopare
Yeah, I agree...should have had more chart success. They fit in a neat spot between rock and poppy new wave. For me they had a kick ass drummer who played whatever he wanted and his wife was the singer and attractive. Alot of 'artsy' tempo, synth sound, texture stuff. But it sure wasn't bland drivel like alot of new wave.
@blacksheep25251
This band had everything: Looks, Talent, Stage Presence, appeal, unique sounds... just yeah... So good!!!
@videojockeysword
They had everything....except a happy marraige....everyone did well...but Lady Gaga stole Dale's whole act...sad...because I loved this band!
@blacksheep25251
@VJ-SWORD Terry's drumming was WWWAAAAAAYYY ahead of his time!!! Like you said, they had everything except a happy marriage.
GaGa stole from a LOT of people, including Madonna and Bette Midler. Dale has everything... the stage presence, the look, the charisma, the voice... Just an amazing band!
@videojockeysword
@Bradley Wall Dale is the singer, Terry was husband-drummer....but yeah...seen them LIVE twice, one of my buddies played drums for Dale...Gaga stole the look and costumes Dale created...like the "plastic bra". I don't care for Gaga's music, but she is a educated pianist...they call it "Show Bisiness" for a reason...
