2. Modus is an Electronic / Ambient / World Fusion / New Age / Trip-Hop and Downtempo artist from the Wirral, UK. Modus is a solo project started in 2006 by Mal Davies, one time keyboard player in the 80's Liverpool band 'Always The Now'. Exploring a life long interest in World music and combining it with his electronic music background he has taken Modus on a musical journey that has led to the release of the EP "The Colour of Love" in February 2009. The EP has received much acclaim with it's diverse mix of ambiences ranging from the Neo Classic "The Colour of Love", the fusion of Indian instruments and Arabic vocals of "Sutra" to the pulsating remix of Donna Summer's "I Feel Love". In May 2009 Modus collaborated with Australian singer/songwriter Jewls Wilson http://www.last.fm/music/Jewls+Wilson on the track ''Secrets Untold'' Hopefully more tracks will result from this partnership. 3. Modus is an independent electronic / experimental producer from Northern California.
4. Modus is an Alternative / Indie / Progressive-Rock band from NY, USA.
5. Under the same name, also a Scottish mod band.
Modus is the sort of band that makes accurate description difficult. They manage to create a sound that is totally unique to themselves. One does catch glimpses of their progressive influences such as Genesis/Peter Gabriel. This band certainly has the knack for creative song-writing in that one song may have a jazzy vibe with soul, while another song surprises you with it’s heaviness and raw emotion. Despite the varying styles, the music manages to maintain it’s continuity. Fans of Tool, Porcupine Tree, Radiohead, Coldplay, Pink Floyd, and Genesis will definitely get into this.
6. Under the name too, a lithuainian dark electronica band.

O nich ten svoj veľký sen
More sníva, more sníva
Modré oči zálivov
Na dne závoj krásnych snov
More skrýva, more skrýva.
V modrej púšti prázdny čln
More skrýva, more skrýva
Mená lodí stratených, nevráti sa žiadna z nich
Mená lodí stratených, nevráti sa žiadna z nich
Vavava...
Koľko sľubov, koľko slov,
Koľko túžob, koľko snov
More skrýva, ó more skrýva
Odlesk dávnych požiarov
Lesy štíhlych stožiarov
More skrýva, more skrýva
Mená lodí stratených, nevráti sa žiadna z nich
Mená lodí stratených, nevráti sa žiadna z nich
Vavava...
Mená lodí stratených, nevráti sa žiadna z nich
Mená lodí stratených, nevráti sa žiadna z nich

The lyrics to Modus's song Veľký sen mora (The Great Dream of the Sea) depict a sailor's deep longing for the vastness of the sea that he cannot escape from despite the dangers that come with it. The song talks about how ships, which are named after women, become the subject of the sailor's dreams. The sea is presented as a beautiful and mysterious realm full of hidden treasures, as is evidenced in the lines "Modré oči zálivov" (blue eyes of the bays) and "Na dne závoj krásnych snov" (the veil of beautiful dreams at the bottom). However, this beauty is also dangerous, as seen in the sailor in an empty boat in the middle of a blue desert.
The chorus of the song, with its repetition of the phrase "Mená lodí stratených, nevráti sa žiadna z nich" (Names of lost ships, none of them will return), shows the inevitability of death and tragedy for sailors venturing out to the sea. Despite this, the sailor is still drawn to the sea, as seen in the line "More sníva, more sníva" (dreams of the sea, dreams of the sea), suggesting that the sea is a part of him that he cannot let go of.
Overall, this song speaks to the allure and danger of the sea, as well as the inevitability of lost ships and lost lives.

Neskutočná pecka, skladba má úžasne silnú melodickú linku a perfektný súlad textu s hudbou. Jednoducho krása.

Nádherná písnička. Pamatuji jak jsem ji hrál pořád dokola na Kotoučovém magnetofonu Tesla B 54. No kdo dnes ještě dokáže složit tak krásnou hudbu a geniální slova?

Pokyny pro komunitu snáď dodržím, keď napíšem, že to je jedna z vynikajúcich skladieb Československa a mala by byť zaradená do zlatého fondu našej populárnej hudby. Úžasná melódia, spev i aranžmá. Majster Janko Lehotský, ja sa Ti klaniam.

V jednoduchosti je síla, příjemná melodie, kytary, klávesy, zpěv. :)
Melodie se musela dobře poslouchat i jako základ.
