Jailbait
Motörhead Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Still tied to mommy´s apron strings,
I don´t even dare to ask your age,
It´s enough to know you´re here backstage,
You´re jailbait, and I just can´t wait,
Jailbait baby come on
One look baby, all I need,
I don´t even want to know your name,
It´s enough to know you feel the same,
You´re jailbait, and I just can´t wait,
Jailbait baby come on
Hey babe you know you look so fine,
Send shivers up and down my spine,
I don´t care about our different ages,
I´m an open book with well thumbed pages,
You´re jailbait, and I just can´t wait,
Jailbait baby come on
The lyrics to the song "Jailbait" by Motörhead are highly controversial and depict a sexually-charged encounter with a young girl who appears to be underage. The lyrics suggest that the girl is still tied to her mother's apron strings, implying that she is not yet an adult. The singer also makes it clear that he does not even want to know her age, suggesting that he is aware that she is too young for him.
Despite this, the singer is completely enamored with the girl and is unable to resist her charms. He claims that one look is all he needs to make a decision and that he does not even care about her name, he simply wants to be with her. The chorus of the song repeatedly uses the term "jailbait" to describe the girl. This is a highly controversial term and is used to refer to someone who is underage and who may be considered sexually attractive.
Overall, the lyrics to "Jailbait" are highly suggestive and are likely to be offensive to many people. The song is often cited as an example of Motörhead's controversial lyrics and their influence on the heavy metal genre.

I dunno what to say about this man
id like to believe that lemmy did not write the lyrics from his own experiences
he doesnt seem like someone who would do this and he clearly knows its wrong.
sure he lived the rock and roll lifestyle but i dont believe he made a decision that would cause harm to an innocent person.
besides, in all his years even today there has been no SA victim calling him out when they have all the opportunity to.
I really consider lemmy a great honest man and i truly hope he was never like that kinda person. but reality can be cruel
