Neven was mainly an instrumental band, mixing electronic beats and grooves with acoustic percussion, guitar, double bass, sometimes brass, didgereedoo, and all kinds of instruments the musicians could lay their hands on. Neven was founded by Peter Clasen in 1995 as one of the first Trip-hop bands in Belgium. Neven soon was discovered by Indie label Lowlands. First releases were 'Recycle-age' and 'Twin Cycles'. Neven was an exciting live band , combining weird but danceable electronics with real musicianship. During 17 years Neven released 10 full CD's and lots of maxi's on both vinyl and CD, through labels like Lowlands, Different recordings, Pias, exit record, PMP and Altaïr Musik. Last release was "Neven live at De Kroon", released in februari 2012.

Neven Illic is a Chilean musician who also works as composer and producer. He is 22 years old and he brings the best of the American R&B and pop to his native country. His first debut album is "EXPORT" and was released on July 11th.
