Control
Nothing Done Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
I'm not listening anyway
I'm in control!
I'm in control!
I'm in control of my life!
I don't care what you think of me
I'm in control!
I'm in control!
I'm in control of my life!
The lyrics to Nothing Done's song "Control" are a defiant statement of self-determination and personal empowerment. The singer rejects the opinions and judgments of others, declaring that their words have no power over him/her. The repetition of the phrase "I'm in control" emphasizes the singer's sense of self-mastery and inner strength, while the dismissive tone of "I'm not listening anyway" conveys a sense of confidence and independence. The second verse reinforces this message of individualism, with the singer asserting that they don't need anyone's approval or pity. Overall, the song represents an anthem for anyone who has ever felt powerless or marginalized and seeks to reclaim their agency and autonomy.

I’ve been divorced twice and as a result, financially wiped out - twice. Whether by divorce or litigation, I am seen as a big, juicy payout and the mantra of “Own nothing, control everything” is valid. I have an offshore trust which has the membership in my offshore LLC. The LLC owns the assets. As the manager of the LLC, I effectively control everything. It’s tax neutral. I am not a beneficiary of the trust and I report everything as required by law. My set up costs for all this was nominal (under $10k) and my annual servicing is under $3k. BUT… I have made it VERY difficult and expensive for someone to take my assets. I absolutely love a lot of what you talk about in your videos and watch each new one as they’re published but frankly, this time I think you’ve completely missed the mark.

yo I was just about to address that this video is borderline misleading and for those that aren't informed of much when it comes to business and how most countries especially the US, functions. People like this guy love keeping the ceiling structure intact with what they "think" lol

The idea of "Own Nothing, Control Everything" isn't about hiding your wealth from the government anymore, as indeed they can pretty much track everything nowadays. However, "Own Nothing, Control Everything" is still extremely valuable as a means of asset protection from the jackass who views you as a lottery ticket and will try to sue you to death cause he's looking for an easy payout.

Hi Mate. Sorry to hear about being wiped out by divorce. It scares me to imagine to lose everything by some gold diggers out there and the legal system making it so EASY for them to operate. I'm just wondering, who (legal firm) did you use to set up the trust? Thanks.

Very true indeed Andrew! FATCA, CRS and AEOI leed to a total loss of financial privacy. That is why we created a non-profit think tank on this subject. Part of it is this new YouTube channel with short videos on matters related to the subject.
@austinhayes5789
"own nothing, control everything" is way deeper then what this guy spoke on. But still thank you for your thoughts. Every piece of information is a help.

Andrew tell your a/v editor to crank up your mic levels because the difference between your intro music and your monologue volume is quite abysmal. Great content as always.
