I am on a bridge
I am at a crossroads in my life, trying to bridge the gap between who I used to be and who I want to become.

And down below
Beneath me lies the world I knew, filled with the people that used to matter to me.

People passing by
The people I once knew are moving on with their lives, and I am no longer a part of their story.

The ones we used to know
There is a sense of nostalgia and loss for the relationships we've left behind in our journey towards growth and self-realization.

I'd like to say goodbye
I want to put closure to these relationships before finally moving on, but it's not that easy.

And I had called a name
There is someone I want to reconnect with, hoping that they still remember me and the bond we shared.

But no one heard
I feel like my voice has been lost amidst all the chaos and noise in this world, and no one is listening to my plea.

Sounds just like the noise
The voices of the people around me are indistinguishable and blend together into a meaningless cacophony

Of people talking words
People talk for the sake of talking, not really communicating anything that truly matters.

I'd love to say a prayer
In my heart I hold a flame of love and concern for all those that have touched my life in some way and wish them well.

For all those that flew
There are people in my life who flew away, towards their dreams and aspirations, and I can only hope that they find what they're looking for.

And all who wish to
It's a universal prayer for every soul that has a desire to grow and evolve, in whichever way they choose to.

Golden gates
It's a metaphor for an idealistic and utopian world, free from all the pain and suffering that plagues us in this life.

Look far from here
It's difficult to imagine such a world, as it seems too far away from our reality and maybe it's an unreachable destination.

A peaceful view
In that utopian world, there is everlasting peace and tranquility, something we can only dream of in this life.

From up above
Looking at the world from a higher perspective, one can see beyond the chaos and make sense of everything that's happening.

And can you hear their voices
The people who flew away still linger in our mind, creating echoes of their voice that we can still hear in the silence.

Calling your name?
Maybe, just maybe, they are still thinking of us, hoping that we are doing well and that we've been able to bridge the gap between us and the awaited dream, somehow.

I am on the ground
I've come down from the bridge towards the reality on the ground, and in this moment, I see things differently.

And now I've seen
No longer aloof in our own world, we have come back to the person and the reality we used to know, seeing that which we once did not.

The choice to stay or go
We realize that life is about choices, and sometimes the choice to leave is not really a choice, but a necessity, and at other times staying could be more difficult.

Does not belong to me
We acknowledge that we cannot control the choices of another, everyone has their own path, and we must accept that fact, though it might be hard.

I'd love to say hello
Now, we realize that even though we have changed over time, it’s so heartwarming to keep those relationships that have mattered to us alive, though we might have to make peace with the fact that some cannot or will not continue as they were, and new connections will arise.
