1) Ott is a record producer and musician who has worked with Sinéad O'Connor, Embrace, The Orb, and Brian Eno, and has achieved recognition since 2002 for his own psychedelic dub tracks and his collaborations with Simon Posford (Hallucinogen / Shpongle). He has released two albums on Twisted Records: Blumenkraft (2003), Skylon (2008) and one album on Ottsonic: Mir (2011). Ottsonic also released a digital live album in 2013, by Ott & The All-Seeing I, as well as a new digital single from Ott, entitled Baby Robot (2013).
Since the early 2000s, Ott has produced, mixed and recorded music released on Twisted Records, including various collaborations with founder Simon Posford. His first major contribution to Twisted was the record Hallucinogen - In Dub, on which he remixed six classic Hallucinogen songs. In May 2003 he released his own album, Blumenkraft, on Twisted; it was reviewed by The Wire. His work has also been featured in releases from the record label Liquid Sound Design (now known as Liquid Sound, run by Martin Glover), especially those compilations produced by Humphrey Bacchus during his time at the label. He followed up his debut album in January 2008 with Skylon, followed by Mir in March 2011.
Ott performed at the Glastonbury Festival in 2007. His performance at Glade Festival in 2011 was described as "the perfect opening act" in an article at Virtual Festivals. That publication also called Ott a "Psy-dub maestro" and gave his performance a full 10/10.
Ott was accompanied by the The All-Seeing I on tour in 2013, where the latter contributed to live versions of Ott's tracks. This tour was recorded and released in Blu-ray under the title "Live at Terminal West", which also was the title for the live album release.
Ott is otherwise connected to Umberloid which is a collaboration with Chris Barker.
He has also contributed to several other records on Twisted as well as other labels.

All Out of Love
Ott Lyrics

Thinking of you 'til it hurts
I know you hurt to but what else can we do?
Tormented and torn apart.
I wish I could carry your smile in my heart
For times when my life seems so low
It would make me believe what tomorrow could bring
Chorus
I'm all out of love, I'm so lost without you
I know you were right, believing for so long
I'm all out of love, what am I without you
I cant be too late to say I was oh so wrong
I want you to come back and carry me home
Away from these long lonely nights
I'm reaching for you, are you feeling it too
Does this feeling feel oh so right
And what would you say, if I call on you now
And said that I can't hold on?
There's no easy way, it gets harder each day
Please love me or I'll be gone
Chorus (times 2)
The opening lines of Ott's song "All Out of Love" describe the singer's current state of loneliness and overwhelm. He is lying alone with his head on the phone, thinking of his loved one until it hurts. The tone of his voicing is heartfelt and full of longing. He acknowledges that his beloved is hurting too, and that they are both tormented and torn apart. It is clear from these lines that there has been some kind of separation that has deeply affected the singer, and that he is struggling to cope with his feelings.
In the following lines, the singer wishes that he could carry his beloved's smile in his heart for times when his life seems too low. He feels that this would give him hope for a better tomorrow, even when today doesn't seem to hold any promise. The chorus of the song repeats the phrase "I'm all out of love" to emphasize the singer's profound sense of loss and his belief that he cannot go on without his loved one. He acknowledges that his beloved was right in something, but he doesn't specify what that was. He is feeling lost and adrift without his loved one, and he begs for them to come back and carry him home, away from the long lonely nights.
