1) Ott is a record producer and musician who has worked with Sinéad O'Connor, Embrace, The Orb, and Brian Eno, and has achieved recognition since 2002 for his own psychedelic dub tracks and his collaborations with Simon Posford (Hallucinogen / Shpongle). He has released two albums on Twisted Records: Blumenkraft (2003), Skylon (2008) and one album on Ottsonic: Mir (2011). Ottsonic also released a digital live album in 2013, by Ott & The All-Seeing I, as well as a new digital single from Ott, entitled Baby Robot (2013).
Since the early 2000s, Ott has produced, mixed and recorded music released on Twisted Records, including various collaborations with founder Simon Posford. His first major contribution to Twisted was the record Hallucinogen - In Dub, on which he remixed six classic Hallucinogen songs. In May 2003 he released his own album, Blumenkraft, on Twisted; it was reviewed by The Wire. His work has also been featured in releases from the record label Liquid Sound Design (now known as Liquid Sound, run by Martin Glover), especially those compilations produced by Humphrey Bacchus during his time at the label. He followed up his debut album in January 2008 with Skylon, followed by Mir in March 2011.
Ott performed at the Glastonbury Festival in 2007. His performance at Glade Festival in 2011 was described as "the perfect opening act" in an article at Virtual Festivals. That publication also called Ott a "Psy-dub maestro" and gave his performance a full 10/10.
Ott was accompanied by the The All-Seeing I on tour in 2013, where the latter contributed to live versions of Ott's tracks. This tour was recorded and released in Blu-ray under the title "Live at Terminal West", which also was the title for the live album release.
Ott is otherwise connected to Umberloid which is a collaboration with Chris Barker.
He has also contributed to several other records on Twisted as well as other labels.

Story of Love
Ott Lyrics

On and on this way forever
Willing to feel this love and pain
Only in careful measure never asking for too much,
never taking more than we need,
guarding our trust like frightened refugees
* Chorus:
A thousands of words could never say enough
I know your store could turn on us
Let's start a chapter in the story of love
Promises are made and promises are often broken
Don't let it take away the meaning of these words I've spoken
Wanna make that leap of faith to the arms of eternity
I'll be unafraid but you got to be there for me
(Chorus)
Alone and never easy together hard but easier
understanding what I need and it's union, communion
The very best of everything
(Chorus)
Ott’s ‘The Story of Love’ is a song about the complexities of relationships and the importance of trusting one another. The singer talks about how love and pain are intertwined and that we should be willing to feel both in careful measure. The lyrics highlight the importance of not taking too much and guarding trust like frightened refugees. The chorus emphasizes how the person being sung to is a significant part of the singer's love story, and their picture is a thousand words that could never be enough. The chorus serves as a plea to start a new chapter in the story of love with the significant other, despite the challenges that may come along the way.
The song’s lyrics are beautifully written, and the message is universal. Anyone who has experienced the ups and downs of a relationship will be able to relate to the lyrics. The song highlights the importance of trust, faith, and the willingness to take a leap of faith. The metaphor of the story of love as a book with chapters and pictures makes the song relatable to everyone who has ever loved or been loved.

Played this number on the radio before. a few listeners actually called in to ask who sang it and the title. Then for the next 2-3 days people requested it on a couple of shows.
