Universal Nation 99
PUSH Lyrics

Proceed with visual attack formation
Lots of space
Proceed with visual attack formation
Lots of space
(Uh!)

(Uh!)
(Uh!)

Overall Meaning

The opening lines of Push’s song Universal Nation 99, “Proceed with visual attack formation, lots of space” suggest a call to arms or a command for a military maneuver. It could represent a symbolic representation of the rave culture, where movements of ravers could be seen as organized movements of troops. The sudden “Uh!” sounds injected in between the repetitions of the phrase could be interpreted as a rallying call to the listeners to join the movement, to get energized and hyped up.

The repetition of the lines with minor variations shows the intention of the artist to create an intense atmosphere that could potentially cause a state of trance or hypnosis in the listeners. At the same time, the use of synthesized and electronic sounds, in combination with the lyrics, invokes the image of a futuristic, intergalactic society that is marching towards a common goal.

Whilst maybe not as iconic as the original ‘Real Anthem’ I have to admit I was (and still am) a total fanboy of that late 90’s /00’s Ferry Corsten sound and loved the Ferry touch on this one.

Actually thought this was up on the channel already but seems not. Sorted it now anyhow 😊

You are not alone mate! I'm collecting and buying second copies (of records that I already had) of Ferry to listen to on my audiophile HiFi. Also from Mike

Check out Lunalife - Lunalife, it was Ferrys first ever track and IMO one of his best.

I’m a simple man. If I see “inferno” I click. I know it’s gonna be a great trance track

@SayHelloToTheRobots

Ferry's beat is instantly recognizeable

I've listened twice... this track has the essence of 90s' Trance!! 😍 And after to listen the ultimate Ferry's works, I feel myself in a nostalgic way... I miss this Ferry, I miss this breakdowns 🥺 Am I the only one who expects just a bite of these classic sounds in the nowadays tracks? 🎶💜
