In 1974 and 1975, she recorded for Avco Records, and, in 1981, recorded for Plantation Records, her most recent record label. Page's most recent single to appear on any Billboard chart was the 1982 #80 country single, "My Man Friday". (She last appeared on the pop chart in 1968, with her version of O.C. Smith's hit, "Little Green Apples", and on the Adult Contemporary chart with "Give Him Love" in 1971.)
Page made the country chart in up to 1983, with her biggest hit during that time being "Hello, We're Lonely," a 1973 #14 duet with Tom T. Hall.
In the 1990s, Page started her own label, C.A.F. Records. In 1998, she won a Grammy as "Best Traditional Pop Singer". Page continued to record into the new millenium with the CDs BRAND NEW TENNESSEE WALTZ, SWEET SOUNDS OF CHRISTMAS (2002), CHILD OF MINE (2003) and her last 2009 release BEST OF COUNTRY. Many of her songs have a strong beat to them that prelude rock 'n' roll. These titles include "Mister and Mississippi", "Detour" and "Cross Over the Bridge". In 1956, she married choreographer Charles O'Curran. They adopted two children, a daughter, Kathleen, and a son, Daniel O'Curran.

Can't you see that I'm
Helplessly, hopelessly, breathlessly
Thrilled by your kiss
I never knew
Such a love could be
Never knew a wonderful, beautiful, heavenly
When we shared the glory
Of dreams made for two
The same old love story
Seems thrilling new
Oo, Oo, what you do to me
Won't you let me
Cling to you, sing to you
Bring you to heaven tonight
Oo la di la la di la
Can't you see that I'm
Helplessly, hopelessly, breathlessly
Thrilled by your kiss
OoOoOo la di la la di la
Never knew a wonderful, beautiful, heavenly
Moment like this
When we shared the glory
Of dreams made for two
The same old love story
Seems thrilling new
Oo, Oo, what you do to me
Won't you let me
Cling to you, sing to you
Bring you to heaven tonight
Oo, Oo, what you do to me
Oo, Oo, what you do to me
Patti Page's song "Oo! What You Do to Me" is a classic love song that expresses the overwhelming emotions of a person who is in love. The lyrics evoke an intense and passionate feeling of being helplessly and hopelessly thrilled by someone's kiss. The words "breathlessly" and "heavenly" describe the depth of the singer's emotion, which is so powerful that it makes her feel as though she is in paradise.
The first verse speaks about the surprise the singer feels about the intensity of her emotions. She has never experienced such a profound love before, and it leaves her speechless. The second verse describes the beauty and glory of sharing dreams with someone who makes her feel alive, and the joy of experiencing the same old love story but in a new and exciting way.
The chorus repeats the phrase "Oo! What You Do to Me" several times, emphasizing the singer's desire to cling to her lover and to bring them both to heaven. The words "Oo la di la la di la" represent the euphoric feeling of being in love, and the repetition of "what you do to me" emphasizes the power her lover has over her emotions.
Overall, the song is a beautiful expression of a person's overwhelming love and desire for their significant other, and the emotional impact they have on their life.
