The Color Changin' Click signed with Paid in Full Entertainment, a record label owned by the Madd Hatta, and released Get Ya Mind Correct in 2002. It was an instant hit in Houston, selling over 200,000 copies independently and getting nominated by the Source as one of the finalists for the indie album of the year in 2002.
However, disputes over money and artistic direction led to friction between Paul and Cham. They were set to release their second album, Controversy Sells, but the lingering issues led the group to split before the album saw the light of day. Controversy Sells did eventually get released in 2004. Paul decided to return to Swishahouse, while Cham started his own label, Chamillitary Entertainment. His younger brother Rasaq, Yung Ro, 50/50 Twin, and OG Ron C are signed to the label.
While Chamillionaire and Paul Wall have since ended any friction toward each other (after performing Ridin' on BET's 106 & Park, Chamillionaire confirmed that he and Paul Wall had settled all problems towards each other, citing that it had taken "so long" to get to where they were in their success), Chamillionaire has contemplated working with his estranged business partner again and even touring together.

They didn't know that eventually I'd be the one to worry about
When someone would mention me, they always tried to say I would flop
But this the sound of revenge
Yea
On the path to find out who's true
The only person you can really trust is you
Then you can always trust you know who
And if you don't know who you know who is
Then I feel so sorry for you
Cause that's really the only person that can judge you
Critics, people that wanna see you fail will tell you what you can't do
Shouldn't do and must do
But when you got that glow
Nobody else's words can really budge you
Revenge has always been looked upon as a sin
And sometimes you feel like you had to sin to win
Sometime it sound like :gunshot:
Is what it coulda been
When you get to the gates of Heaven they probably wouldn't let ya in
But ya change that meanin' up and success is what it is in the end
And instead of worryin' about what shoulda, coulda, woulda been
Ya turn your head toward the future and keep it movin'
Know what I'm sayin'?
Well say it again
Keep it movin'
Know what I'm sayin'?
Screw it then
Know what I'm sayin?
If you're waitin' for me to fail, your time is runnin' out on that clock
I'm runnin' to the finish yea, when I get there I ain't gonna stop
Success is what I couldn't have, but now I tell em look what I got
It's the sound of revenge
In the song "Outro" by Paul Wall and Chamillionaire, the lyrics focus on the concept of revenge and overcoming the obstacles that come with pursuing success in the music industry. The first few lines address the doubters and naysayers who did not believe in the artist's potential when they were still starting out. Despite the lack of support, the artist eventually rose to fame and success which is why the sound of the song represents the sweet sound of revenge. The lyrics also touch on the theme of trust and self-reliance. The artist acknowledges that in the pursuit of success, it is important to trust oneself above all else. Critics and people who are waiting for the artist to fail may try to deter them from their goals, but the artist knows that their inner self and resilience will ultimately guide them towards success.
The second verse continues the same themes of resilience and grit. The artist acknowledges that the pursuit of success is not without sin or failure. But, in order to win, sometimes it may require taking drastic measures. The sentiment behind the lyrics is that even though people may judge and criticize the artist for the mistakes they make, no one has the right to judge them except themselves. The lyrics suggest that the journey to success should be focused less on what “could have been” and more on what the future holds. The artist's confidence in themselves and their success is evident throughout the lyrics and reinforces the theme of self-reliance and perseverance.
