As a teen I had all my DJ equipment set up at my mom's place. She would let me mix for as long and as loud as I wanted. I always noticed when I played this, she would be bobbing her head to the beat. She was a hip mom. Rest in Paradise. I love and miss you.

You'll see her again.. i promise! 🤍

This video is a good message about emptiness and depression. In our home we see the color in a world we created, but in the outside world (the void) all we see is black and white. The outside is the emptiness inside ourselves that prevents us from connecting to the outside world and others. One of the biggest tragedies is that we can sometimes even see the outside world right in front of us, only to realize the bars of our mind that keep us from escaping. Powerful.

Frickin' amazing dude... Van Dyk puts so much emotion and heart into his beats and his music, you can't help but get engulfed in it. And, he's been in the scene for such a long time, but the quality of his music has never once been compromised. Paul Van Dyk for LIFE!!!!

Paul is a genius. There won't be another DJ/producer like him in a very long time. He may not be the most personable DJ in "interacting with the crowd" sense, but he'll always be one of my favorite DJ's to see. His music is brilliant.

The scene at 1:54 is just breath taking. You know, I really think paul van dyk is the only artist that really captures the feeling of life in his music. That powerful inspirational feeling that really makes you feel what he feels in his music. In my opinion, Paul Van Dyk has something no other dj/producer will ever have.

What's interesting is that I always, always listened to this song whenever I'm feeling depressed or lost. Eventually I find my way back, even from some of the darkest places. This song, in my opinion, is one of the factors that help me get through whatever pain is there. In it's own way, this music video can be about just that. Loneliness, depression, hate, paranoia. Paul's music is just an arrow piercing my soul.
