Quien si no fui yo
A tu pies
The lyrics to Pedro Vargas's song "Frenesí" are a plea for a passionate and reciprocal love. The singer asks his lover to kiss him with the same intensity he gives and to give him the "frenzy" that his own madness for her provokes. He claims to have been the one to show her the path of love and confesses that his pride has been shattered at her feet. He then expresses his desire for her to live only for him and to follow him wherever he goes, with the ultimate goal of his soul belonging only to her. The final lines are a repetition of the plea for this frenzy of love.
The song is filled with intense emotions and passion, and the lyrics reflect a desire for a deep and all-consuming love. The use of the word "frenzy" is particularly striking, as it suggests an almost desperate need for the other person. The singer's vulnerability and devotion are apparent throughout the song, making it a powerful and emotional ballad.
