Na strechu večer liezť
A vidieť jak niečo z nás zapadá
Vidieť všetkým dnu do okien keď je šesť
Možno tam by som zomrel prvý krát.
Vidieť všetkým dnu do okien keď je šesť
Keď po filme to každý znova vzdá.
Poďme sa zachrániť
V sebe máš ten protijed.
Nevysyp si z dlaní vlastný svet
Poďme sa zachrániť
Radšej nikdy ak nie hneď
Šťastie musíš krajšie vymyslieť.
The lyrics to Peter Nagy's song Poďme Sa Zachrániť convey a sense of urgency to save oneself and find happiness. The singer suggests climbing onto a roof at night to watch something fall and see into the windows of others before everyone gives up and goes home. The chorus urges the listener to save themselves and find the antidote within themselves, rather than spilling their own world from their hands. The sense of urgency continues in the second verse, cautioning against following the crowd, waiting in line for a haircut, or pretending to be wise when it's easier to admit loss. The bridge laments old records being sold and rebels being tired, while suggesting the singer is not yet ready to give up. The song ends as it began, with the suggestion to climb onto the roof and save oneself with the beautiful and self-created antidote of happiness.
Overall, the song seems to suggest a desire to escape the mundanity of life and find one's own way to contentment. The repeated phrase "Poďme Sa Zachrániť" can be translated to "Let's Save Ourselves," emphasizing the importance of individual effort and choice.
