From Wikipedia:
The alternate term ROIO or RoIO, an acronym meaning "Record of Indeterminate Origin", or "Record of Illegitimate Origin", arose among Pink Floyd collectors trying to clarify the differences between counterfeits, pirate copies, live bootlegs, and "ROIOs", meaning recordings whose legal status was difficult or even impossible to determine. The term has spread beyond Pink Floyd fans but its recognition and usage depends largely on the individual community. It is also sometimes used to denote a Pink Floyd recording of any kind.

Paranoid Eyes
Pink Floyd (ROIO) Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
Take a fresh grip on your bullet proof mask.
And if they try to break down your disguise with their questions
You can hide, hide, hide,
"I'll tell you what, I'll give you three blacks, and play you for five"
"Ta! You was unlucky there son"
"Time gentleman!"
Behind paranoid eyes.
You put on our brave face and slip over the road for a jar.
Fixing your grin as you casually lean on the bar,
Laughing too loud at the rest of the world
With the boys in the crowd
You hide, hide, hide,
Behind petrified eyes.
You believed in their stories of fame, fortune and glory.
Now you're lost in a haze of alcohol soft middle age
The pie in the sky turned out to be miles too high.
And you hide, hide, hide,
Behind brown and mild eyes.
The lyrics to Pink Floyd's "Paranoid Eyes" delve into the concept of hiding behind an external facade to protect oneself from the consequences of revealing their true thoughts and emotions. The song's chorus of "hide, hide, hide, behind paranoid eyes" emphasizes the idea of paranoia and fear as driving factors behind the need to keep up a front. The opening lines of the song urge the listener to keep their guard up and hide behind a "bullet proof mask" to avoid answering difficult questions or revealing any vulnerability.
The second verse delves into the impact of the singer's choices to hide behind this mask, highlighting the loneliness and disconnect that can stem from keeping others at a distance. The line "laughing too loud at the rest of the world" conveys a sense of arrogance and superiority that ultimately isolates the singer from the people around them. Meanwhile, the third verse speaks to the consequences of buying into society's promises of success and material possessions, only to find oneself disillusioned and unfulfilled. In each case, the solution for avoiding pain or disappointment is to hide, ultimately leading to a life lived behind paranoid and petrified eyes.
Overall, "Paranoid Eyes" speaks to the human tendency to conceal our true selves in order to avoid vulnerability or judgment. The song encourages listeners to question the cost of hiding, as well as the impact it can have on our relationships and overall well-being.

You're so right. When you listen to those songs separate, they're amazing. The problem is that most of them are slow and all together... may seem like a bit tiring. A great album.
