Bright shining star, shine down on everyone
Like a guiding star, whose light illuminates the path in the darkness of night, so also the all-encompassing radiance of divine love should cover the world, shining on every living being, eliminating hatred and pain and offering peace and joy.

As the shepherds watch over their flock, they are witness to the most glorious happening in the history of the world, causing them to praise and exalt God, for having showered upon them the gift of this unparalleled miracle.
