By the end of the 80s they released three more albums in quick succession - Varme Dager (1987), Forbudte Følelser (1988), Blaff (1989) and Rock'n'roll Party (1990).
By then the frontman Michael Krohn and the rest of the band felt they were "stuck" in the band, and they decided to split.
For the next few years they played a few farewell-shows, but by 1995 they recorded a new album called Perler For Svin. Seemed they wouldn't quit after all...
The 1996 live album Live Again followed, and the studio effort Til Helvete Med Raga Rockers (1997). In 2000 they released an album called simply Raga Rockers, but then they went into some sort of hiatus.
In 2005, a compilation album was released, followed by an extensive tour.
In 2007 they released the album Übermensch, proving they are still to be counted among Norwegian rock's finest.
Noen å hate
Raga Rockers Lyrics

Fort deg bort og ta han
Det er like godt som sex
Å banke en stakkars faan
ref.
ref.
Er det ikke deilig å ha noen å hate
Føles det ikke godt å ha noen å hate
Er det ikke herlig å slå dem flate
Er det ikke deilig å ha noen å hate
The lyrics of Raga Rockers' "Noen å hate" (Someone to hate) speak of the pleasure derived from hating and physically harming someone who is perceived as different or inferior. The song opens with the singer asking someone to "take him away" and "beat him up" in a manner that is equivalent to sex. The refrain repeats the lyrics "Isn't it delightful to have someone to hate? Doesn't it feel good to have someone to hate? Isn't it wonderful to knock them down? Isn't it delightful to have someone to hate?"
The lyrics go on to describe the sound of bones breaking and flesh ripping as the implied violence gets more intense. The song then takes a sardonic turn as it invites the listener to follow "the finger pointing to where the adults play."
The song is a commentary on the pleasure that some people derive from singling out and physically harming others who are somehow different. It speaks to a darker aspect of human nature, the desire to feel superior to others through physical intimidation and violence. The lyrics emphasize how such behavior is a form of bonding among those who engage in it and how having "someone to hate" is seen as a source of pride.
Overall, Raga Rockers' "Noen å hate" is a dark and uncomfortable song that speaks to some of the worst aspects of human nature. It is a commentary on how discrimination and violence can be normalized through language that trivializes the harm that is done.
