Rebelution kicked off their “Peace of Mind Tour” the day after the release, selling out shows at Philly’s The Electric Factory, The Hollywood Palladium, Denver’s The Fillmore, The Fox Theater in Oakland and Hard Rock in Orlando, FL. The tour made stops in a total of 42 cities across the country.
Summer 2012 was spent supporting O.A.R on their Amphitheatre tour, headlining four amphitheaters in Florida as well as festival performances at Outside Lands, Hangout, Forecastle, Summer Camp, Summer Set, The Allman Bro’s Peach Festival and two performances at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. After completing a Fall tour of the East and South East, Rebelution will be headlining The Hollywood Palladium on New Years Eve, heading to New Zealand for the Raggamuffins Festival in February and headlining their annual Winter Greens Tour around the USA in Feb - May 2013.
Peace of Mind marks the first time Rebelution has expanded beyond their usual self-production enlisting producers Michael Goldwasser (Easy Star All-Stars), Amp Live (Zion-I), Yeti Beats (Kool Keith, George Clinton), Keith Armstrong and Errol Brown (Stephen, Ziggy, Damian, and Bob Marley). The album builds upon the band’s signature style while venturing into new musical genres from the lush strings incorporated into the gentle “Route Around” to the driving guitar and synths throughout “Lady In White”.
Rebelution has developed into a front-runner for grassroots, independent and tour driven music groups. Originally formed in 2004, members Eric Rachmany (vocals / guitar), Rory Carey (keyboards), Wesley Finley (drums), and Marley D. Williams (bass) met in college, while residing in Isla Vista, a popular beachside community in Santa Barbara. It was there that the seeds to Rebelution’s future were planted creating inspiring and engaging music that would leave their listeners with the sense that they have the power to make this world a better place. The band continuously tours across the country, ventured to South America and Europe, and has previously performed at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits among others.

Night Crawler
Rebelution Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
You'd better move quick, don't you know she's a night stalker
Look straight ahead in the distance oh yeah there's a nightcrawler
Yeah you'd better move quick, don't you know she's a night stalker
She'll take away all the love that you feel, she'll want to suck up and steal
She wants to look around town with her wicked eye, but we'll love and come real
She'll try to cover herself in the underground, she thinks she's got it locked down
Look straight ahead in the distance
Yes there's a nightcrawler walking with her fist clenched, but raise up
And feed her some happiness
And before you know it she'll be smiling with some love
And yes, all right now let me tell you what we're trying to suggest:
Once again, Rebelution on a loving quest
Tell her to look at the ocean when the sun sets
And then put out our hands for the unfortunate
All right pick up the slack from the wickedness
Straighten up clean up your manners and your etiquette
Look straight ahead in the distance, oh yeah there's a nightcrawler
Yeah you'd better move quick, don't you know she's a night stalker
Look straight ahead in the distance, oh yeah there's a nightcrawler
Yeah you'd better move quick, don't you know she's a night stalker
Late night, three in the morning yeah, you can hear her footsteps one after the other and
Nobody ever seen her talk back, nobody ever seen her walking on the right track
Tell me do you know where your soul is?
You glitter but the gold's up in the night's mist, and it's crawling up on ya
How many people in this house tonight feelin' that sense of aggravation on a lonely night
Look straight ahead in the distance
Yes there's a nightcrawler walking with her fist clenched, now raise up
And feed her some happiness
And before you know it she'll be smiling with some love
And yes, all right now let me tell you what we're trying to suggest
Once again, Rebelution on a loving quest
Tell her to look at the ocean when the sun sets
And put out our hands for the unfortunate all right
And pick up the slack from the wickedness
Straighten up clean up your manners and your etiquette all right
Look straight ahead in the distance, oh yeah there's a nightcrawler
Yeah you'd better move quick, don't you know she's a night stalker
Look straight ahead in the distance, oh yeah there's a nightcrawler
Yeah you'd better move quick, don't you know she's a night stalker
The song "Night Crawler" by Rebelution speaks about a woman who is considered a "night stalker" or "night crawler" due to her tendency to roam the streets at night. The lyrics suggest that this woman might have a reputation for being someone who steals love and happiness from others, but the singer suggests that perhaps she is simply lonely and in need of connection. The chorus emphasizes the need to be aware of her presence and to move quickly, in a cautionary tone. However, the verses suggest that there might be a way to reach out to her, to show her kindness, and to help her find happiness and love.
The lyrics are structured in a repetitive manner, with the chorus being repeated twice after each verse. The verses are filled with imagery of the woman walking the streets at night, with the emphasis on her loneliness and isolation. The singer suggests that she might be misunderstood and that her actions could be seen in a different light if people reached out to her.
In essence, the song calls upon listeners to be more compassionate, to recognize that people who are seen as a threat might be dealing with their own struggles, and to try and find ways to reach out and connect with them. It's a reminder that often people are not what they seem, and that extending kindness and understanding can make a significant difference in someone's life.
