But thereβs one problem (Guess what)
He couldnβt spell right at all
And I know thatβs not the end all β be all
But it really kinda blows
Poor guy doesnβt even like book (I know!)
And sometimes, it shows
Who couldnβt put apostrophe sβs on his possessives
And donβt look at me when I look at you
Whenever you say βstuffsβ
βCause thatβs my cue (RETCHHH)
Iβm not a nazi- I just care about good grammar
He paparazzi (okay), I just said that βcause it rhymed
But donβt you dare commit a grammar crime on me
You type βloseβ with one o if youβre losing your mind
Two Oβs for describing bowel movements of any kind
You see βyourβ and βyouβreβ
Theyβre two, two different things, baby
Itβs YOUR problem YOUβRE confused
But Iβmma help you out with the words you use, yea
My momma told me itβs unwise to like a boy who is just nice
Who couldnβt put apostrophe sβs on his possessives
And donβt look at me when I look at you
Whenever you say βstuffsβ
βCause thatβs my cue (RETCHHH)
Iβm not a nazi- I just care about good grammar
He paparazzi (okay), I just said that βcause it rhymed
But donβt you dare commit a grammar crime on me
I suggest you brush up on your subject-verb agreement
If we keep this up, itβs gonna be a commitment
You never say βDogs barksβ β you just say βbarkβ
Pay a bit of attention weβre gonna take it to the park
Double negatives and all its relatives
Donβt sound no good if they ainβt in a rap song
Iβm gonna break it down to you
I hate it when you say βfurnituresβ
When you mean βpieces of furnitureβ
Let the plural be pluralized
The English language doesnβt deserve to be compromised
Itβs TO to direct, TOO for βtoo muchβ, TWO is a number
Learn it, else Iβll be holding a grudge
THEREβS two baby cubs
And THEIR momma lion
And THEYβRE together itβs as clear as day
If youβre debating if βI wasβ versus βIf I wereβ, I say
Who would you believe more?

In Reese Lansangan's song, "Grammar Nazi," the lyrics tell the story of a girl who likes a boy but cannot bring herself to pursue a relationship with him due to his poor grammar skills. The girl learns about the boy's inability to spell and use correct grammar, which makes her question the possibility of being with him. She shares her knowledge of basic grammar rules with the boy and encourages him to improve his language use before committing to a relationship. The song emphasizes the value of proper grammar and language use in our daily lives and relationships.
The song takes a humorous approach to highlight the significance of good grammar use, often using over-the-top descriptions and wordplay to make its point. Lansangan calls out common grammatical errors and misconceptions, such as 'loose' instead of 'lose,' and 'your' versus 'you're,' while also emphasizing the importance of subject-verb agreement and proper pluralization. The chorus serves as a warning to anyone who dares to commit a "grammar crime" in front of her.
One of the most interesting facts about "Grammar Nazi" is that it was inspired by actual events. Lansangan shared in interviews that the song was based on her experience of meeting a guy who showed interest in her but had poor grammar skills. She found it challenging to continue the conversation with him due to his errors, which led to her writing the song. Additionally, the song gained popularity because it was featured in the popular Netflix show, "Atypical," which helped bring more attention to the song and Lansangan's music.
Another fun fact about the song is the use of wordplay and puns. For example, Lansangan describes the boy in the song as "cute and nice and tall, but there's one problem (Guess what?) He couldn't spell right at all." The wordplay of "right" and "write" is clever and adds a playful tone to the song. Additionally, the comparison of the girl being a "grammar Nazi" and the boy being a "paparazzi" shows the clever use of a rhyme to address language issues.

readlwrm
Kpop is famous because its quality is better, they have actual professionals in the industry that helps them in videography and sound engineering, ofc opm is no match. Walang marketing system sila, also koreans are versatile in their music, opm tends to stick to one or two repeated genres. Kpop isn't famous because of luck, its famous because of timing, marketing, visuals, and professionallity that brought it to where it is today.
