1) Japanese opera soprano REMI, born 1977. Her music encompasses classical crossover, opera, ethereal, neoclassical darkwave, new age, symphonic gothic metal, and folk.
2) Remi, 22 years old from Melbourne.
3) Female MC from Croatia.
4) 22 year old Hip-Hop/R&B Artist from Belleville, ON, Canada
1) Remi. New to the game but old to its ways, 22 year old Melbourne lyricist Remi Kolawole exudes a unique style, rhythmic flow and an honest delivery.
His semi tongue-in-cheek braggadocios style, by no means overshadows his lyrical abilities. Remi’s rapping persona is comfortable sitting amongst varying musical backdrops and tempos, and his singing voice is as smooth and catchy as the hooks he sings.
Expertly balancing singing and rapping, Remi’s content is highly self referential, littered with pop-cultural tid bits and tales of a life equally footed in fantasy as it is reality.
On the back of releasing two EPs in 2011 (‘Childish’ and ‘Five Beats I Love’) his debut 2012 album ‘Regular People Sh#%t’ not only cements his previous forte’s, but also displays a confidence in showing several new ones.
The album (produced in full by local duo J Smith & Dutch) covers a varying subject matter and has equal nods (lyrically) to everyone from Slum Village to Drake as it does Black Thought and early Kanye West.
Remi’s 1st single of the album, APE caused a bit of a commotion down at Triple J. As a result, Remi was made an Unearthed feature artist, and his debut LP ‘Regular People Shit’, dubbed the Hip-Hop Show’s feature album.
Since then he has supported XXL freshman Danny Brown, MED, N’fa Jones, M.A.F.I.A, Jade McRae, and played at the 2012 song summit held in Sydney, along side fellow RunForYourLife members.
Not bad for someone whose been rapping for a year and a half! Remi is being championed as a refreshing, young, evolving, gifted, forward thinking talent to watch, and rightfully so.
2) REMI is a female singer born in Tokyo. She is best know for her work with Takanashi Yasuharu and the fantasy band Sound Horizon.
3) Female MC from Croatia. Part of the group Elemental.
4) Male singer, rapper, producer and member of the group Meadow Gang. His debut album, Where Do We Go From Here, was released in 2014.

** LYRICS **
[Verse 1]
I'm just here to push limits
Shit-scared of heights but I stay on top of the game
Just to say I did it, show young black kids that you can live it
Free your mind with it, be proud of your pigment
I wasn't for a while, too many times vilified
For being a shade different
Started hating myself and all dark skin, playing myself
Charlie Sheen, Two and a Half Men
Remember after school, train station
Busta "Break Ya Neck" blasting from iPod Mini
Thankful class finished
So I could go and play Majora's Mask with my little brother
When cops come up and start asking me
"Where you from? What you up to?" "Oh, from Moorabbin?"
"That's half an hour from here, not from around here
Boy, what you selling? Where's your product?"
I hadn't even touched drugs at this point, except maybe a joint
But my skin fitted the description
So "oink oink" had to be deployed
Next day at school, told my friends
The facts of how they treated the boy
They said I'm being crazy
'Cause to them, black voice is white noise
That's the world that we're living in
[Chorus: Jordan Rakei]
We seem to forget the dark days of history, yeah
And time will manifest the endless possibility, yeah
Open your eyes to see the world is darker than it seems
So we dreaming on (dreaming on), enough with the crazy, crazy talk
[Verse 2]
Dave Chappelle taught me
The worst thing to call someone is crazy
Dismissing all the pain that plagues them in one word
Just to avoid confrontation with yourself
We prefer to sit on a chesterfield lounge
While microwaving a meal by McCain and
Watching Australian Idol contestant failing
While the house that we're in is in flames
All because it's the routine (I dunno know about that man)
So when they say, "Too deep"
I say, "But it's a reality, you're too deep"
'Cause I'm just using eyes, ears and news feeds
To get up to speed
Shit, only those that don't read between the lines abuse these
Therefore I don't lose sleep
'Cause I'm well aware that's the world that we're living in
[Chorus: Jordan Rakei]
We seem to forget the dark days of history, yeah
And time will manifest the endless possibility, yeah
Open your eyes to see the world is darker than it seems
So we dreaming on (dreaming on), enough with the crazy, crazy talk
[Outro]
Open your eyes
Open your eyes
Open your eyes

@dougallnorris3581
Prelude is solid, too:
In a world of alt facts, that overthrow blacks,
queens in hijabs, queers that get bashed,
we sit down, kick back, we sip on six packs,
watch the world burn on telly and think
that's how it is
that's how it is
@smoothsheep
Dougall Norris love you for that, sir.
All of this is exceptional!
@samy5102
thats probably the best thing ive ever heard
@sanjayr
Thank you so much but i think he might be saying "alt facts" instead of old facts.As a reference to the Trump era of alt facts.
Could be wrong though,
@dougallnorris3581
Sanjay Ramzan tooootally is. Cheers mate.
@ArtisticProdigy09
It would be so cool if they did a COLORS tour with some of these artists with a stage built around the same concept as in the show
@noanieuwenkamp1348
Tyrez S that is such a good idea
@lorenzorizzardi9883
In like the same way that Sofar does, small semi-private/intimate sized shows. It would be so perfect
@ArtisticProdigy09
Lorenzo Rizzardi Exactly!!! Small to mid sized venues. It would be so perfect. They could do a small national/international Tour
