They are best known for their internet videos and are self-proclaimed “Internetainers”. They have been featured on Conan, CNN, BBC, NPR, TV Guide, E! News, TMZ, The Jay Leno Show, Lopez Tonight, Last Call with Carson Daly, and Ellen.

In addition to their web presence, Rhett & Link are also musicians and filmmakers, and have worked in network television as hosts. They own and operate a video production company, Rhett & Link, Inc.

Rhett & Link met in 1984 in Buies Creek, North Carolina at their elementary school. The two became best friends and began producing content for release in 2000.

Internetainment
Rhett & Link have developed an international following through their collection of over 500 web videos. Their music videos, non-scripted reality videos, and sketches have been seen over 100 million times. Rhett & Link have also created original video series for NBC Universal and TV Guide Broadband.

Since January 2011, Rhett & Link produced Good Mythical Morning, a daily talk show. Originally starting out as Good Morning Chia Lincoln, the show features Rhett and Link discussing various topics. The show runs for a couple months before taking short breaks, usually around a month, and then returning with the next season.

In April 2013, Rhett & Link began their weekly half-hour program The Mythical Show, which ran for twelve episodes. The future of the show is currently unknown.

TV
Their show Rhett & Link: Commercial Kings debuted on IFC on June 24, 2011. Based on their hit web series iLoveLocalCommercials, this non-fiction comedy series follows their travels to small towns across America where they develop and produce commercials for local businesses using local talent.

In 2010, Rhett & Link produced and starred in a national television commercial for McDonalds and Coca-Cola, T-Shirt War 2.

In 2009, Rhett & Link served as musical correspondents for the Science Channel’s Brink. They wrote songs and made music videos for three episodes. Songs included the Space Junk Song, Robot Girlfriend, and Hello (the S.E.T.I. Song).

In the fall of 2007, Rhett & Link hosted a prime-time TV show on the CW called Online Nation. The half-hour show featured popular web videos, introduced by Rhett & Link, Stevie Ryan and Joy Leslie.

Film

For those with an understanding of music theory, they don't even resolve the chord progression at the end of the song. The chorus is written in C Major, and the final chord of the song is a G Major chord (or dominant), which composers often resolve back to the C chord (the root). As someone with symmetry/order/perfection OCD subtypes I actually don't mind being teased about that. It's the intrusive thoughts that are the worst part like if you have harm OCD the disorder will force you to vividly imagine (things like) strangling puppies and gouging their eyes out and their screams of pain over and over again to the point where you feel like you need to avoid puppies to protect them from yourself.

I don't think you will see this, but in 2019-ish I was diagnosed with OCD myself after struggling with it since I was a child. One of the things that helped me realise I wasn't crazy was this exact song. So thank you, Rhett and Link.

I don't have OCD but this is concerningly relatable.
If there is an unsolved Rubik's Cube in the vicinity, I will solve it.
If I don't close my bedroom door at least three times to make SURE it is closed, something bad will happen.
In photography class, I have to use Camera #13 or else something will go wrong.
I did get tested and I don't qualify for the disorder, my therapist told me it's just a symptom of ADHD (which makes no sense, but I don't have a degree, so I won't argue.)

I'm 37, I've had Ocd since I was 4, and I can only relate to the toilet paper roll, and the uneven swimmers, in this video! I know ocd is diffrent 4 each person, but it's actually more allot than one may think! And I'm definitely terrified of germs, or anything I perceive as unclean, I talk excessively, I count so much, have so much doubt, checking, and re checking things, and looking for reassurance in conversations, having to plan out almost everything I do, even talking to myself, acting it out, because I want it to be perfect, and being really hard on myself if I fall short, 😢 but above all, the unwanted thoughts are what terrorize me everyday, throughout the day! It leaves me with anxiety, and panic attacks,feeling extremely drained, and depression!😢This is ocd, that many don't recognize, and isn't really talked enough about! 😢 🙏🏿

I love this it’s to poke fun at the tendency of so many people to point out things that are off-center, off-balance, etc. and say "It's driving my OCD crazy!" since that literally isn’t all it is and how the last line is “can I come back tommorow” since the people who usually said “it’S mY OCD” are usually just perfectionist and enjoy organizing this and how people who actually have OCD would never want to keep doing this since it is draining so they wouldn’t want to “come back tomorrow” so yeah love the details 🤍!!!.

Back when this song came out around 2014, I suffered from OCD really bad e.g. obsessing with the number 4 and having to count 4 most of my days otherwise I'd get terrible intrusive thoughts.

This video though as trival and comedic as it is made me feel so better and really helped me through my struggles. Now at 21 I ended up eliminating roughly 90% of my OCD through sheer force, believe me it isn't easy but I overcome a lifetime of potential suffering and I believe all you can be freed from this obsessive curse.

Thanks Rhett & Link for making my childhood more cheerful, peace y'all. :3

I have OCD and struggle with multiple subtypes, and while I divide gummies by color (although it’s more habit than an obsessive compulsion) before I eat them, I wouldn’t do that with a whole bowl.

“Just Right” OCD is not really finding something disturbing. It more of a feeling something is wrong. Someone with contamination OCD would be extremely disturb if something wasn't "clean enough" but for 'just right' you just wash something until it "feels okay"

Idk man i am bad at math I put it in an age calculator that said I was 7 years (almost 8). I was born august of 2006. Either way the point was I was barley in elementary school when this came out and now I'm going into my Junior year of high school
