In 1984, Plant formed a short-lived all-star retro rock group with musicians Jimmy Page (also of Led Zeppelin), Jeff Beck, and Phil Collins called The Honeydrippers. The band had a Top Ten hit with their song "Sea of Love", a remake of the Phil Phillips' chestnut. Plant's also notably performed with Page in the outfit Page & Plant.
Plant's love of the music of Morocco led him to a new collaboration called Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation. The band's releases met with critical acclaim and numerous Grammy nominations. They completed a notable 2006 tour of Europe in September.
In 2007, Plant began recording and performing with American bluegrass star Alison Krauss. A duet album, Raising Sand, was released on 23 October 2007 on Rounder Records. The album, recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by T-Bone Burnett, met with enormous critical and commercial success. Tours have reached devoted audiences in multiple cities.
The year of 2010 proves to be yet another successful year for the lemon squeezer. During the summer, Plant will be reuniting with his old, Pre-Zep group, The Band Of Joy, for a tour of the southern and mid continental tour of the US.
In 2012 Robert Plant starts another band project going by the name Sensational Space Shifters releasing the live album Robert Plant Presents: Sensational Space Shifters. Along with Plant himself the band consists of Liam "Skin" Tyson, Justin Adams, Billy Fuller and John Baggot along with Dave Smith, Juldeh Camara and Patty Griffin.
Liars Dance
Robert Plant Lyrics

There's trouble and it won't go
I'd really like to help you but you know
Truth twist liars dance
Money, money greed, chance
Let's take a little more before we go
Cause we won't be back again
No we won't be back again
Trees cry men bow
Kneel before the fatted cow
Let's take a little moo before we go
We won't be back again
No we won't be back again
Oh we won't be back again
Tell me Jesus what to do
A little time for me, and none for you
Just leave it to the lady who's sure
She won't be back again
I know she won't be back again
I'm sure she won't be back again
Oh she won't be back again
The lyrics of "Liars Dance" by Robert Plant strongly suggest a criticism of profit-oriented society, where corruption, greed and deceit are intertwined. The song starts with the image of the four winds, which are capable of bringing change or trouble, but in this case, they only signal the arrival of problems that won't disappear easily. The singer expresses his inability to help, due to the manipulative power of liars who twist the truth to suit their own interests. The reference to money, greed and chance suggests that every action is driven by the desire for profit, even if it means taking advantage of others.
The second part of the song describes the submissive posture of people towards the wealthy and powerful leaders. The reference to trees crying is a metaphor for the suffering of nature and the environment under the pressure of industrialization and economic growth. The image of men bowing down before the fatted cow (a symbol of wealth and abundance) indicates that they are willing to sacrifice their dignity and morals for material gain. The repetition of "we won't be back again" emphasizes the finality of the loss of opportunities, the consequences of our actions and the lack of accountability.
The lines "Tell me Jesus what to do / A little time for me, and none for you" suggest that even religion and spirituality are imbued with selfishness and self-interest. The singer is seeking guidance but with the intention of protecting himself, while leaving others behind. The song ends with the affirmation that the lady who is sure that she won't be back again is another victim of the shortsightedness of a society that values instant gratification over sustainability and responsibility.
