In 1984, Plant formed a short-lived all-star retro rock group with musicians Jimmy Page (also of Led Zeppelin), Jeff Beck, and Phil Collins called The Honeydrippers. The band had a Top Ten hit with their song "Sea of Love", a remake of the Phil Phillips' chestnut. Plant's also notably performed with Page in the outfit Page & Plant.
Plant's love of the music of Morocco led him to a new collaboration called Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation. The band's releases met with critical acclaim and numerous Grammy nominations. They completed a notable 2006 tour of Europe in September.
In 2007, Plant began recording and performing with American bluegrass star Alison Krauss. A duet album, Raising Sand, was released on 23 October 2007 on Rounder Records. The album, recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles and produced by T-Bone Burnett, met with enormous critical and commercial success. Tours have reached devoted audiences in multiple cities.
The year of 2010 proves to be yet another successful year for the lemon squeezer. During the summer, Plant will be reuniting with his old, Pre-Zep group, The Band Of Joy, for a tour of the southern and mid continental tour of the US.
In 2012 Robert Plant starts another band project going by the name Sensational Space Shifters releasing the live album Robert Plant Presents: Sensational Space Shifters. Along with Plant himself the band consists of Liam "Skin" Tyson, Justin Adams, Billy Fuller and John Baggot along with Dave Smith, Juldeh Camara and Patty Griffin.

I give you love but you don't care I want you,
Oh was it like heaven in your arms
Or was it some place else that charmed?
Oh, there something is on my arm I want you, oh yeah.
Here comes the rain again
There goes another lonely day
I spent the hours in your caress
Mm, your caress is still the best
Mmh, oh my god, I'm in a mess
Hey, I want you
Here comes the rain again there goes another lonely day
If I could only whisper to you I'd cross the hall and say
Girl, girl, oh my word make me, take me,
If you would soak, shake splash, and quake
Taste your flower, tastes so good
Girl, girl, oh my word make me, take me, if you would
Soak, shake splash, and quake
Taste your flower, tastes so good do it!
Oh yeah here comes the rain again there goes another lonely day
If I could only whisper to you I'd cross the hall and say
Here comes the rain again while your so far away
I lie and wonder whether it's just too much to pay
To my sea you satisfy my every need
Mm, it grows with your years
I need you, I need you, I need you
Girl, girl, oh my word make me, take me, if you would
Soak, shake splash, and quake
Taste your flower, tastes so good
Ooh! girl, girl, oh my word make me, take me, if you would
Soak, shake splash, and quake
Taste your flower, tastes so good
Girl, girl, oh my word make me, take me, if you would
Soak, shake splash, and quake taste your flower, tastes so good
Oh my word soak, shake splash, and quake
Oh my word soak, shake, splash, and quake
The lyrics of Robert Plant's "S S S & Q" express his raw and unfiltered sexual desire for a woman. The song starts with Plant giving compliments to the woman he desires and expressing his love for her. He wonders if being with her was as heavenly as he imagines or if it was just simple charm that drew him in. Despite his love for her, the woman seems indifferent, and Plant is left to express his frustration.
The chorus of the song uses the metaphor of rain to emphasize Plant's loneliness and desire for the woman. He wishes that he could talk to her and express his feelings to her. Plant then becomes more explicit with his desires, asking the woman to "soak, shake, splash, and quake" and taste her flower, which refers to her genitals. The song ends with Plant repeating the chorus, expressing his need for the woman.
Overall, the lyrics of "S S S & Q" convey a powerful sexual desire while also touching on themes of unrequited love and loneliness.
