Perhaps Trower's most famous album is Bridge of Sighs (1974). This album, along with his first (Twice Removed from Yesterday) and third (For Earth Below) solo albums, was produced by his former Procol Harum band mate, organist Matthew Fisher.
Those who favor electric guitarists who can play live what they record in the studio will be very impressed with the "Robin Trower Live" album - especially the cut "Daydream". While often compared to Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower never received the publicity nor same volume of fans.

Drink my life from an empty cup
I ain't taking no messin' from the likes of you
There ain't no messin' now mess with the blues
Messin' the blues, messin' the blues
Messin' the blues, messin' the blues
Well lonely days and lonely nights
Well baby baby don't let me be blue
'Cause there ain't no messin' like messin' the blues
Messin' the blues
Fine little belly got a gleam in my eye
Ask no questions and I get no lies
I ain't no angel but I end up used
Down, down, down with the blues
Down with the blues
Dealin' the blues
Dealin' the blues
Robin Trower's Messin' the Blues is a song about the blues (which is a genre of music) and how it can affect a person's life. The lyrics describe someone who has been down for a long time and has been drinking from an empty cup, indicating that they have been struggling and feeling empty. The person is not willing to tolerate any type of disrespect or mistreatment from anyone anymore, but finds solace in the blues. The chorus repeats the phrase "messin' the blues," which could imply that the person is using the blues as a way to cope with their struggles and find meaning in life.
The second verse continues to talk about the loneliness and pain that the person is experiencing. They plead with their partner not to let them be blue, but the only consolation they seem to find is through the blues. The third verse takes on a slightly different tone, describing the person's "fine little belly" and suggesting that they are engaging in risky behavior. They claim to not be an angel and end up being used, yet they continue to deal with the blues. Overall, the lyrics suggest that the blues is a source of comfort for someone who is struggling in life and finding it difficult to cope with their circumstances.
