S.M. Dorsey High School Jazz Workshop Lyrics

Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴  Line by Line Meaning ↴

Eu deixo o teu sangue escorrendo lá no chão

Pega o copo bota o Lean

Cê qualquer filho da puta vim tentar me amendrontar

Pega o copo bota o Lean
Não gosto de cerveja
Eu não sou de fazer farra
Mais hj eu vou embrazar*

Um passeio na cidade pra aliviar
O estresse

Passei no Mac Donald's e a gerente
Me abordou

Pega o copo bota o Lean
Não gosto de cerveja

Eu não sou de fazer farra
Mais hj eu vou embrazar*

Overall Meaning

These lyrics from S.M. Dorsey High School Jazz Workshop's song "Frankenstein" portray a sense of confidence and defiance. The opening line "Cheio de cicatriz tu parece o Franklin Einstein" translates to "Full of scars, you look like Franklin Einstein." This could be interpreted to mean that the singer has been through tough experiences, but they have learned and grown from them, just like Franklin Einstein. The next few lines suggest that the singer's gang is weak and cautious, while they themselves have had numerous opportunities.

The lyrics also touch upon the singer's readiness to use violence if necessary with the line "Carrego minha AR não uso sem precisão" which roughly translates to "I carry my AR, I don't use it without precision." It suggests that the singer is equipped and prepared to defend themselves. However, they also express their enjoyment of life, referring to their collection of girlfriends and the pleasure they find in different experiences each day.

The chorus repeats the phrase "Não trabalho pra sair so trabalho na terça" which means "I don't work to go out, I only work on Tuesdays." This could imply that the singer's main focus is on their own goals and ambitions, rather than indulging in constant partying. However, they acknowledge that today is a day to enjoy and let loose, as they mention drinking lean and not being a fan of beer. The overall tone of the song portrays a sense of confidence, independence, and the determination to live life on their own terms.
