Heard this first time while watching a sunset at Café Del Mar in Ibiza, 1995. I had no idea what the track was, only that it became one of the most exhilarating musical moments I'd experienced up till then. The next day I found the Café Del Mar 2 compilation from a local record shop, and to my delight this track, as well as several other great tunes that I'd heard at the café the night before, was on the compilation. That was 23 years ago, and this still sounds as fresh and timeless as it did back then.

I was at cafe del mar as well but it was 2010 the trance scene was near dead,hardly heard any trance at all ,would love to have been there when trance was massive

Just in case you don't know, Salt Tank did create this track, it's really called Eugina ("insert version"). There are various versions like Eugina (Pacific Diva), the trance version, and there's Eugina (Sargasso Sea) which is the ambient/downtempo version and a lot more versions. Yes, this track was later remixed and re-released on Lost Language with new ambient, progressive house, and trance versions by Salt Tank, DJ Tiesto, and Michael Woods. Proud to say I have these tracks on vinyl and wav.files. Salt Tank, in general, was an enigma. They created a lot of fast paced techno and trance tracks. However, ever so often, they created masterpieces that were so emotional and visceral.

I was in camden market in London in 1995 and heard this music playing as i walked past a guy selling recordings on cassettes. Time stopped. He said his friend produced it at café del mar in ibiza. In 1998 i went over and watched the sun go down at café del mar. Glad I experienced a moment that now is an era that mobile phone addicts will never. A pint of real spanish San Miguell for £1.20 equivalent, and flight &hotel for 7 nights (last minute) for £99. Lovely memories

Let's say around 9 years ago, I found a double LP, (promo) of Salt tank, and one of the tracks was this one!! At that moment, the Micheal Woods remix of Eugina was hot. The albums ahs great tunes, including this one!!! The owner of the record shop was suprised and didn't understand why this album was so special hahahahahahah. The greatest thing is that these tunes are "old", but they will endless rock the scene!!!! Way ahead for that time!! Equal producer in the 21st century is Roger Shah :) !
