The Final Time Traveler
Sarah Àlainn Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
And everything we knew would vanish in a sigh?
Still I would close my eyes.
Your voice travels wherever I go.
What if this world could become a lie?
If any moment, you could fade out of sight?
Drifting through the abyss of time
Look around
Beauty here abounds
Lying in the dark waits a treasure
To be found
So I'll try
To defend this lie
I silently surrender
And leave this world behind
Aah...
When life is but a dream
Still I try
And remember why
Chasing after memories
From time gone why
There we were
Sparklingly unharmed
Visions of the future
That one day may be lost
Aah...
And life is the key to dream
In the song "The Final Time Traveler" by Sarah Alainn, she contemplates the possibility of the world turning into a lie; a reality that she is willing to accept as she would still close her eyes and hear the voice of her loved one. The lyrics speak about the fear of a plausible scenario where one can fade out of sight at any moment, and as they drift through the abyss of time, their memories continue to breathe through their loved ones. The song contends that even in such a world, there is beauty to be found by those brave enough to look for it. It might be necessary for them to defend this perceived lie and leave behind an uncertain world. The lyrics associate the dream-like nature of life with the key to unlocking a brighter future.
