Schachner grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia. When she was five, she first started playing piano and then started playing the violin. She kept learning other instruments, such as viola and cello, and played with both family and in the orchestra and jazz band.
Schachner went to the Berklee College of Music and then moved to Los Angeles. She began to work with composer, Brian Tyler, who worked in film and then started writing video game music. Tyler first brought Schachner in to work on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Schachner said, "I started doing music on the games for him and I realized how much I loved working on games." Schachner began to incorporate synthesizers with her work on string instruments.
In 2016, Ted Cruz's presidential campaign used one of Schachner's songs, Lens, without permission.[5][6] As the composer, she and the performer, along with a licensing firm, sued the Cruz campaign in May of 2016 for copyright infringement.
Schachner also contributed to the Cassini Finale Music Project, a commemoration of the Cassini mission to Saturn.
Combining her dynamic talents as an accomplished multi-instrumentalist and modular synth artist/programmer, International Film Music Critics Award nominated composer Sarah Schachner has developed a reputation as a bold new force in film and video game scoring for blockbuster titles such as Call Of Duty and Assassin's Creed. Hailed as "A rising star in the soundtrack world" (Game Informer), Schachner's widely acclaimed Baroque classical-action score infused with analog pulses for Assassin's Creed Unity was nominated for Best Original Video Game Score by the International Film Music Critics Association and her evocative theme "Rather Death Than Slavery" featured in HBO's Game of Thrones Season 5 trailer. Schachner also previously collaborated with Ubisoft providing additional music on Far Cry 3 and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, nominated for a 2014 BAFTA Award for Best Original Music.
In addition to her video game work, Schachner has written music for films, trailers, commercials, and TV shows. She has a long-standing relationship with composer Brian Tyler, with whom she wrote additional music and arranging on films such as Iron Man 3, The Expendables 2, Now You See Me, and the indie thriller John Dies At The End, as well as a host of video games including Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Far Cry 3, Need For Speed: The Run, and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel. Schachner made her solo debut into film composition with 2015's The Lazarus Effect, starring Olivia Wilde, Mark Duplass, and Donald Glover.

@@PlutoOuttaHere. egyptian history is divided to 4 main kingdoms. Old Kingdom, Middle Kingdom, New Kingdom, Ptolemaic Dynasty and ended when Egypt was taken into part of Rome as a Province of Rome after Cleopatra's death. there were intermediate periods in between those main 4 kingdoms that lasted 100 years or so.
Old Kingdom lasted for about 500 years c.2600BC to 2100BC. it was when the pyramids were built.
Middle Kingdom lasted about 400 years c.2050BC to 1650BC
New Kingdom lasted almost 500 years c.1550BC to 1070BC
then theres a gap here when Egypt was ruled by the Assyrians and Persians for about 700 years until Alexander the Great came and liberated them and put his second in command, Ptolemy 1 as Pharoah.
Ptolemaic Dynasty lasted 275 years. 305BC to 30BC. ended when Cleopatra 7 died, then egypt was known as a Province of Rome for 670 years until the Muslim Conquest began in 640AD.
