In September 2001 they recorded ten tracks in the famous Sunlight Studio, Stockholm – six of those for their "Solace Denied" 7" (Sounds Of Betrayal), two of the other songs ended up on the "Polargrinder" compilation LP (Manufactured by CR/Putrid Filth Conspiracy) and one finally on the "Unlawful Grindcore Assembly" comp 7" (Nuclear Bbq Party).
A second visit to the Sunlight Studio took place in February 2002. Seven songs were recorded for the "Swedish Assault" compilation CD (Relapse) and five for the Sayyadina/No Value split 7" (Sounds Of Betrayal).
In 2004 they recorded the album "Fear Gave Us Wings", released on CD by Sound Pollution in November and on vinyl by Yellow Dog the following month.
January 2006 saw Sayyadina opening for Rotten Sound on the 21 date Grind Your Face Off tour through eleven European countries.
They started recording their second album in March 2006. Using their own rehearsal room made it possible for their original drummer (who had been sporadically MIA due to shoulder complications) to do all the drumming. Their albüm "Mourning the Unknown" was out on cd july 2nd 2007 on Sound Pollution records, USA.

Journey into my mind
An abyss
Down to hell
Darkness darker
Than night
A fist of memories
I'm beaten by secrets
Noone knew
Fear and anger
Fighting
Fear and anger
Fighting for outlet but never let out
The dark scares me
The opening lines of the song "Black Rose" by Sayyadina portrays a person who is self-reflective and has the courage to objectively look into the recesses of their mind. The use of "abyss" and "hell" here express the depth and intensity of the darkness that the singer confronts within themselves. Their journey takes them to a place where the darkness is so deep that it is darker than night. Memories, both repressed and otherwise, come back to haunt them like a 'fist.'
The subsequent lines reveal that the singer is at war with themselves- an internal strife that is manifested in fear and anger. This war within them is a fierce one, and their first inclination is to keep it all bottled up inside rather than seeking an outlet. It's a poignant portrayal of someone who is struggling to come to terms with their fears and emotions, and the shadowy depths they must navigate in order to achieve any form of balance or peace.
