Mads Mikkelsen shared a story in an interview that he actually knows the lead singer for Scarlett Pleasure. He used to be friends with Mikkelsen’s daughter, he went on to share how he ended up driving this young man home a time or two from high school parties along with his daughter. He finished the story sharing how poetic he thought it was that the song as well as the movie is very much about alcohol and life affirmation and he drove him home drunk a time or two. I absolutely love that story.
