In April 2016, they made their comeback through the Korean variety show Infinite Challenge. A guerilla concert was planned by the show since fall 2015, but was spoiled by reporters. Despite the hurdles, their appearance on the program was met with high praise, making their comeback a huge success.
5 of them have also signed with YG Entertainment and have since held a concert and released a new single accompanied by the "Re-Album" with their old hits remastered.

The lyrics to SECHSKIES's song Letting You Go express the pain of having to let go of a loved one who remains by your side but causes you loneliness inside. The singer feels that it is more difficult to experience the loneliness of having someone always present than it is to accept that they can no longer be together. They have seen the person they love with someone else, and they must resign themselves to their fate. The person they love has been too indifferent to notice the hidden sadness within them.
The singer feels desperate at the realization that they must hide their sadness and succumb to it when they think of the person they love. Even though they have fallen asleep, dreaming of the lost love, they cannot find the strength to end it all. They find themselves alone again, just as they always feared, and realize that every hope they had of gaining the love of this person was just a wishful thought. Despite all this, they decide to leave the person they love behind and hope they will find happiness with someone else.
