I can't believe that it was just what I needed to save me too
I'm in love with you
Do do do do
I think you should love me too
Out Of The Blue
Out Of The Blue
I can remember all the leaves of September crushing under my shoe
When we were walking baby, who needed talking
All my dreams coming true
I'm in love with you
Do do do do
I think you should love me too
Out Of The Blue
Out Of The Blue
In love with you
What are you waiting for
My heart is like an open door
There's no use praying for
What's waiting for you
I adore you
I adore you
oh oh oh
I can't believe when you said you needed me to stay with you
When we were walking baby who needed talking
All my dreams coming true
I'm in love with you
Do do do do
I think you should love me too
Out of the blue
Out of the blue
In love with you
What are you waiting for
My heart is like an open door
There's no use praying for
What's waiting for you
I adore you
In Serena Ryder's song "Out of the Blue," the lyrics reveal a narrative of a person who is surprised they found love when they least expected it. The opening lines show the shock of finding someone who says they are needed. The songwriter cannot believe that what she needed most was to love someone and be loved in return. This realization leaves her in a state of shock and wonder. In the next few lines, the songwriter reminisces about a walk she took with her lover in September. A time when they could be together without any need for communication. Their walk was a dream come true. This memory emphasizes how simple moments and love can make everything right.
The song's chorus is like a declaration of love. The songwriter confesses that she is in love, and she thinks her lover should love her in return. The repetition of the line "out of the blue" emphasizes how unexpected this love was, how they found each other when they were not looking for it. The bridge brings a sense of urgency to the song. The songwriter's heart is an open door for love to come in, and she implores her lover to take the chance and enter. There is no need to wait; there is nothing that prayer could do about what is waiting for them. It is not only love that she is offering, but her adoration as well.
