People may struggle to move on from their pasts for either fear-based or ego-based reasons, and it is up to each individual to decide which reason drives their behavior.

Chasing a carefree or wild lifestyle can lead to actions that one may regret later, much like soldiers risking their lives in battle may regret their decisions if they survive to reflect on them later.

Blinded by the shining in their eyes, Is it something that you'll come to regret?
Being dazzled by the glamour and excitement of a lifestyle may obscure the potential long-term consequences of one's actions, which could lead to regret later on.
