(Written by Kirk McLeod and Aidan McGovern, arranged by Seven Nations)
All you people
Won't you come into the right
There's no need to fight anymore today
All you people
All you people
That when we can talk so clear
We leave so much in doubt
When we can talk so clear
We leave so much in doubt
All you people
While my song is in the air
You're all welcome to share
My smoke, my wine
All you people
All you people
And it seems so strange to me
When we can talk so clear
We leave so much in doubt
When we can talk so clear
We leave so much in doubt
And I still wonder that the fussing
And the fighting and the shouting's all about
Na na na na na, all you people
Na na na na na, all you people
I'm already gone
So don't wake me because I'm already gone
Don't wake me
I'm already gone
The song All You People by Seven Nations seems to be a call for peace and unity. The lyrics suggest that there is no need for fighting anymore and that everyone should come together on common ground. The opening line "All you people, won't you come into the right?" is a plea for people to unite towards a common goal. In other words, the song is advocating for everyone to get along even though differences may exist.
As the song progresses, the artist notes that it is strange that people can talk so clearly but leave so much in doubt. This line implies that there is a lack of understanding between people even when they can express themselves well. The song then shifts focus to the idea of sharing. While the artist sings about sharing his smoke and wine, the ultimate message is that sharing can bring people together. Sharing promotes a sense of camaraderie and can eliminate differences between people.
The final lines of the song suggest that the artist has already gone, implying that he has left behind the conflict and differences that exist between people. The line "don't wake me because I'm already gone" is a plea for the listener to consider moving on from whatever conflict exists in their lives. Overall, the song is a call for people to come together, share, and move past conflict towards unity.
