She was born in Madrid and made her musical debut at the age of 12 on TVE singing for Nikka Costa. She later studied singing under the tutelage of Robert Jeantal before touring extensively with her mother Rocio as a backing singer throughout Spain, Mexico and the United States. While continuing her studies in Miami, she was courted by several major record labels, recording a series of demos including a session of songs by English songwriter Richard Daniel Roman. In 2001 she moved to Mexico and signed to BMG who later released her eponymous debut album which was largely ignored by both critics and public alike. This album was followed by Recordando in 2006 on EMI, an album dedicated to her mother and which went straight to number one in Spain, going platinum in its second week after selling over 80,000 singles. She has sold more than 200,000 albums in Spain and 30,000 in Mexico. She has also performed at the Latin Grammy Show singing "Amor Eterno".
Cenizas

No existe rencor
No existe rencor
Y si pretendes remover las ruinas
Que tú mismo hiciste
Sólo cenizas hallarás de todo
Lo que fue mi amor
These lyrics are about a person who has been hurt after being neglected by someone they loved. The singer talks about their wounded heart and how this person who hurt them has come back into their life. The person who has returned seems to be seeking comfort from the singer and wants to share their own hardships with them. However, the singer is not willing to forgive or take back what was given to them. Instead, they express that there is no hatred left in their heart for the person who hurt them.
The chorus repeats the sentiment that the love that existed between them is now just ashes, and there is nothing left to rebuild. The singer acknowledges the pain they have experienced but also conveys that they have come to a sense of peace with the situation. The lyrics are emotional, but the singer seems resolved to move on from the pain they have experienced.
Overall, this song is about love lost and moving on. The singer expresses the pain they have gone through but also acknowledges that there is no point in holding onto the past. The lyrics are a reminder that even when love dies, it does not have to turn into hatred or bitterness. Instead, people can learn from their experiences and choose to let go of the hurt to find peace within themselves.
