Sunday
Siamese Cats Lyrics
Jump to: Overall Meaning ↴ Line by Line Meaning ↴
In Siamese Cats's song "Sunday," the lyrics describe the feeling of longing to spend time with someone special. The phrase "歯痒くてたまらない" translates to "I'm itching uncontrollably," indicating the excitement and anticipation of the day. The lyrics go on to describe a sunny Sunday, suggesting a day of relaxation and enjoyment. The singer encourages the other person to cut their hair short, as it is something the singer loves about them. The singer also promises to bring a new camera and suggests meeting under an overpass.
The lyrics capture the feeling of being shy but wanting to confess one's feelings. The singer asks the other person to raise their head so the singer can see their face, suggesting that the other person is also shy or afraid of being vulnerable. The lyrics touch on the fear of losing what one loves, and the desire to hold onto it. The singer asks for a loan of a "毛玉のカーディガン" (fuzzy cardigan), indicating a level of comfort between the two people. The song ends with the idea that the pictures taken that day will be kept as a secret memory between the two people.
Overall, the lyrics of "Sunday" convey a sense of yearning, anticipation, and vulnerability, all wrapped up in a lazy Sunday afternoon.

You forgot another thing with siamese cats: As they age and naturally get less active they also get darker, to the point you can almost tell their age from how dark they are.

@Jessica A. Markert congrads on your accomplishments Jessica. Could you explain: if a Siamese is kept at a consistently warm temperature until they are 6-8 wks will they remain white or will their points come in more faintly? Ty

Doesn't that depend on which markings it has i.e.: seal v.s chocolate point? I've always heard cats coats complete it's adult coloring around 2yrs & maintains it until when it starts to get grey/white hairs when old (10+)

Also if they live in cooler climates when they’re young they can get darker quicker.

U explained my 11 year old cat

Most Siamese cats remain active right until very old age. It has to do with their body temperature changing as they get older not about activity level. My Siamese cat hardly change colors. She did a lot of sunbathing and had heated bed, plus a cooling bed for hot days. She lived until age 23 years old. Her activity level did slow down but not by much. Same goes for my second Siamese cat whos very active for a 11 year old cat. Had other domestic cats slowly start to slow down around age 9 and by age 11 slow down to point of being lazy. Most of the time you can see the difference in a 11 year old cat slowing down. Not a Siamese lol

So siamese cats look like their own thermal image.
