Kaikkihan me ollaan prinsessoi

kuin prinsessan juhlapuku
ja kun se astelee huoneeseen
niin kaikki huokaisee voi juku
hiuksissa kauniit kiharat
päässä tiara sekä korvakorut
ja kun prinsessat on pihalla
ilman viittaa ne on kananlihalla
ja pieniä kristallei
mut sitten mä tajusin ett on korjattava toivomuslistallein
koska
kaikkihan me ollaan prinsessoi
kun laitetaan kruunu päähän
sä oot prinsessa nääthän
joten leikkimään jääthän
In Sini Sabotage's song "Kaikkihan me ollaan prinsessoi," she sings about the beauty and allure of princesses. The lyrics describe the princess's glorious dress, with beautiful curls in her hair, a tiara and earrings on her head, and stunning crystals on her shoes. When she enters the room, everyone can't help but swoon over her. The princess exudes power and grace, making her the object of everyone's admiration.
However, the lyrics reveal a deeper meaning about our society's obsession with appearances and the superficial. The song suggests that anyone can become a "princess" if they put on a crown and look the part, but this facade of beauty and elegance often masks many insecurities and insecurities. This is highlighted in the line "lakatut kynnet ja korkokengät ja pieniä kristallei," which translates to "polished nails and high heels, small crystals". While these symbols may appear glamorous, they are merely symbols that we hold onto as we craft our identity.
Overall, "Kaikkihan me ollaan prinsessoi" serves as a commentary on the societal pressure to appear perfect and how we all have the potential to become our own version of royalty, but it is important to not get lost in this facade.
